The Coffee Shop

I've seen a lot of Tavern roleplay areas here, so I thought maybe to do a coffee shop one. There might be a ton of these, but I haven't seen them, so my apologies to anyone who may think I have stolen their idea.

Regular coffee shop, doesn't serve alcoholic drinks, a counter/bar, booths and stools, plenty of bright, open windows, a TV above the counter, and a jukebox in the corner. The worker's name who's usually almost ALWAYS there is Mike. Elderly guy, friendly, blonde hair, blue eyes, and in a worker's uniform.

Nothing too profane. I'm not into reading that kind of stuff, and this IS the internet. What is put on here is uber hard to get off, so post at your own risk. If you guys see anyone posting stuff that's inappropriate, be sure to bring it to someone's attention! Be nice in real time, let the characters fight each other, not the users. And have a good time!

That's really it! Now get in that coffee shop and mingle with some of your favorite characters.

A young girl steps into the coffee shop and sits at a booth by the door, glancing around. Her auburn hair is wet from the rain and her hazel eyes seem sad as she looks over a menu. Upon deciding what she wants, she stands and heads to the counter, flashing a polite smile at the man behind the counter.
"Hello, I'll have a frapachino and a small chocolate chip muffin, thank you." She orders in a small voice, counting out the exact amount calculated from the prices listed on the menu and sliding them across the counter to the cashier.

Isaura;

I walked in, smiling to myself as I heard the familiar jingle of the bell above the door. The place wasn't packed today; only a few regulars, Mike, and a young girl standing quietly by the counter counting change. I skipped towards the counter, taking a seat on the stool a few seats down from the girl. "One mocha frapachino and a slice of your delicious chocolate cheesecake please, Mike." I smiled; he returned it. As he set to put my order and probably the girl's as well, I decided to strike up a conversation. "Hey! You're new here aren't you? What brings you to this quaint litttle shop?"

The girl turns to the newcomer and nods, flashing another polite smile. She receives her drink and snack and sits next to her.
"I just wanted to try something new." She replies.

Isaura;

I nodded, running my fingers through my escaped bangs coming out of my long, black ponytail. "Do you live around here?" I inquired, pulling out my money to pay for my drink and food. "Thanks Mike."

The girl shakes her head, sipping on her drink.
"I live outside of town, about ten miles out." She responds.

Vanessa walks into the shop, Marie shifted in her left arm and sets her down on a stool right next to the two girls. Vanessa sits on the other side of her and orders. "Um, may we please have one Coffee and one apple juice? Thanks."

Marie looks over at the girl with the muffin and taps her, speaking in her tiny voice, "Hi."

The girl turns to the toddler who'd just walked in with a young woman and smiles.
"Hello." She says back.

Marie starts giggling and twirls some of her hair, and Vanessa flashes a smile, grabbing Marie and setting her on her lap. "Sorry. She's just really...open." She cuckles.

The girl smiles again. "It's alright. How old is she?"

Vanessa smiles, "Marie? She's four and a half." She replies.

"She looks it." The girl says, smiling still. She always loved little kids.

Isaura;

I smiled to myself as I sipped my drinks. The little girl was very adorable.

Vanessa nods, "She is. Whats your name?" She asks, giving Marie her Apple Juice.

"Lis." The girl replies. "And the both of yours?"
She looks at both sides.
