Imagine this. Several people who don't get along very well are all stranded on a remote island with no chance of leaving. ( This is not a rip-off of gilligan's island people!!!!!!!!!!!!) They must learn to work together to survive. If you want a character please post it and wait for me to accept you before you begin writing. To post a character, please write a couple paragraphs about your character- there name, history, interests, how they got to the island, appearance, ect. No one will be allowed in after April 10th which is when we will begin the story.
Miss Margret Tanner, a strict , weed like librarian in new york, has always scared children with her sharp, beak like nose and high scratchy voice. No matter where she is though, she always takes charge. Miss M. as we will call her, wanted a stress free vacation. She boarded a plane to the bahamas yet the plane crashed into the water. She was the only one to survie and swim to a small island that was about a 1/4 mile away. She was later joined by several others whom all found their ways to this island in other ways.
Kara North, a freedom loving 17 year old girl with big dreams (she wants to be a doctor or a journalist and also wouldn't mind turning to photography if all else failed) and a carefree personality, long wavy black hair prone to tangling, lightly tanned skin, pale green eyes and who has been home-schooled by her parents for her entire life as they have jobs where they consistently move (both her parents are travel agents in a big company) and has never actually stayed in one place for longer than three months. She has a bubbly personality and loves taking risks. She knows what she likes and what she doesn’t and doesn’t have a problem with expressing her opinion. Kara was on a boat with her parents when engine problems forced them to abandon ship; fierce waves washed their small lifeboat (with her parents and the four other surviving passengers) far out to sea and knocked Kara out of the life boat. Somehow she managed to reach a small deserted island and soon finds out that she isn’t alone.
Tell me if I need to change anything...

Michel; a seventeen year old guy with dangerous anger issues. He had been on a transpacific flight, but his plane was the subject of a terrorist attack. After the plane smashed into the water, he was able to climb out and swim away. His anger, though brutal, was short lived and he was able to spot an island some distance away. Once in the shallows, he wadded to the beach and lay coughing, gasping for air.
Josh Newman is a 12 year old snob. He grew up in a rich family, his parents didn't give him much thought but hired nannies to take care of him. He went to a high class boarding school were he spent most of his time getting into trouble. He even sometimes stayed there during Christmas. His no good attitude doesn't help him in the friendship factor so he is mostly alone.
He was on his privet jet going home when he hit a storm and it crash landed. The next thing he knew he woke up on a deserted island.
Where adventures are made and hero's are born. Where villians are slain and friendships live on.
Amaya Mason is a fourteen year old girl. She grew up as a MK in Mexico and really knows how to rough it. She is very smart and talkative but has a nasty habit of abandoning people. Because she is so independant she feels like she doesn't need anybody else to survive. She also has problems with impulses and can get in a lot of trouble because her fast working brain gets ahead of other people and usually "skips steps" like explaining what she's doing before she does it causing her to take leaps when other people are still figuring out the situation. She has few to no friends.
On an impulse Amaya decides to run away. She's looking for adventure and gets bord with her life. She stows away on a cargo ship but half way to their destination she is discovered and when she is, she realizes she is aboard a drug smuggling ship! The sailers have no choice than to get rid of her. A nicer sailer supplies her with one of the life rafts and a tin of hard tack and they leave her to face odds in the middle of the ocean. She somehow rows herself to a nearby island.

I've asterixed out the rude bits
on a private yacht when it hit an iceberg. The captain got somewhat distracted by the, eh, "goings on" and failed to notice the two mile high wall of frozen terror. Blah blah blah, Dick was the only survivor. He floated on a raft made of blow up, uh, "female inanimate collectibles" for two days before bursting a load bearing doll with his, umm, "activities". Luckily, a current washed him onto the island. Unfortunately, he has no clothes. He is very conscientious, caring and paternal. But gets very cranky when he hasn't had breakfast.
I hae but ane gallant son, and if he were to follow me in my footsteps, how proud I shall be.
