"Theres something I need to tell you and it's not easy." She says, worried.

Jace studies her. "What?"

"Zeus doesn't want the child to be born. It's gonna be too strong then any of us. That's what he thinks. He wants it dead, even if Rayah goes down with it." She says crossing her arms.

"Hell no." Jace answers immediately. "We aren't killing an unborn child and we aren't risking Rayah's life."

She nods, "He told me we don't then he will," She sighs.

"Poisedon won't have that..." Jace says, hoping it's true.

"Zeus is his boss. If he refuses in anything Zeus will kill him anyday. Zeus is stronger then any of us. Just one punch to Rayah and she'll be done." She says looking at him.

"We aren't killing anything." Jace says.

"He will." She sighs, "We have to figure something out."

"We need to inform Poisedon." Jace says. "And somehow get out of this."

Thunder cracked outside, a storm was coming. I sat on the floor away from the windows near the bed Rayah lied.

Jace nods, understanding, and walks back in the room, pretending nothing is wrong.

Jesse pretends nothing happens and plops down on the couch, looking at me every once and a while.

Jace walks in and I smile at him, my face not red anymore.

Jace smiles back and wraps his arms around her, kissing the top of her head.
