I smile as he opens his eyes. "Hey." I said grabbing hold of his hands. "You're fine." I said calmy. "You made both the two of us proud."

"Is Jace even a demi god?" I asked my nervousness getting the best of me.

Jace could barely hear what was going on, focusing on Rayah's emerald eyes.

I shrugged, still looking at Jace. "Uh, I don't think so."

As soon as I said that I heard feathers. Suddenly the door bursts open and Hermes appears. He smiles at me then walks over, "I wanted to..." He trailes off, looking at Jace in shock. "Jace?" He says taking a step back.

Jace hears his name, the syllable sounding like someone snapped their fingers in his ears, and looks towards the door, where a man stands there, looking at him confusedly.
"I don't know you..." Jace whispers, close to passing out again.

I help Jace up and he stands. Hermes walks towards him. "Oh my god..." He says Shocked.

I look over at Hermes in confusion, "You know him?"

He nods, "Jace is my son." He says smiling.

Son?
Jace can't comprehend this.
"My father...No, I'm from Availia, not Olympus." He tries to say clearly, the word instead coming out much like a drunkards.

"No, I sent you there because I didn't want you to get hurt Jace." He says. "I didn't want you to go through what other demi gods have to. Fight in wars, and all that, like Rayah has to." He says still smiling. "I've missed you son."

Jace doesn't understand, looking at Rayah for possible guidance or way of response.

I stayed quite for most of the talk keeping my back to the room and sat on the floor my legs hanging out the window deep in my own thoughts. I stayed there after I heard I was not only guarding one demigod but two, Jace you lucky son of gun you don't know what you got yourself into.

Jace looks back at Hermes.
"W-what about Nic?" He asks, forgetting the rage belonging to the name long enough to wonder whether he was true either.

I look at Hermes and then Jace. "Oh my god..." I said smiling. "You guys look exactly the same! That's so weird!" I said laughing. "And Hermes does have two long lost sons. I know that. And he sent them off somewhere." I shrugged. "Hermes do you still have the mark?" I asked and he nods. He shows me his wrist where the mark is and I look at Jace's. "The same mark..." I muttered.

Hermes looks at Jace, "Nic? He's a demi-god too."

Jace is awestruck, not quite sure what to believe. He buries his face in Rayah's shoulder, closing his eyes and thinking.

He buries his face in my shoulder. Hermes looks at us, "Y-You two are...?" He asks. I nod and he smiles, "Son, It's alright. Don't worry about this stuff. The treaty is broken and no rules are broken. Now that you guys have figured out your a demi-god..." He says smiling. Cupid watches with entertainment. Hermes turns to him and smiles, "Hey Cu!" He does a fist bump with him and I laugh, twining my hand with Jace's.

Jace swallows and looks up at Rayah once Hermes turns to Cupid.
"Everything...Everything I was told wasn't true." He whispers, his eyes squinted with fatigue.
