Senator Cicero Trow-

"I believe I will have to speak to your father about your rudeness, Miss Nixion." I called after her,"Now son, how have you been?. Wait, Lets go to your room first."

-------------

Octaviius-

"This way father." I motioned. Once we were inside I answered," Fine, except for my wounds, Rutila, and all the petty lower-classers around her."

"That's my boy. Now I have some medical herbs to help your wounds." He smiled, "Miss Nixion is in more danger than she thinks."

cyrus (ice's bro)

I watched from afar as that idiot Drake sat next to my sister. He was going to ruin everything and make my plans harder to follow.I planned out everything but i did not account on iris opening up to people. If i didn't get rid of him soon he might help her memory return and that was NOT going to happen on my watch. I picked up a rock from the ground and threw it at his head, i wanted to talk to him alone before it was to late.

Drake-
That kid that was talking to Ice earlier throws a rock at my head.
"What was that for?" I ask him. He runs off, and I follow him. He turns around to talk to me with a look on his face as if I was the one throwing rocks.
"What?" I ask again.

General Nixion

Having calmed down, the General once again descends the stairs to the main room and gains everyone's attention. He clears his throat and glances over everyone before speaking.
"I believe it's time for dinner."

Drake-
The boy doesn't say anything right away, and then I hear the call for dinner so I turn away and head to the dining hall. I sit next to Rutila, who happens to be sitting next to her father, her mask on again. The general frowns at me, but I ignore his look. I'm guessing Rutila hasn't told him about our kiss yet because she still looks nervous and he doesn't have smoke coming out of his ears yet.

Rutila "The Black Dagger" Nixion

I sit with my father as dinner begins Drake off to my right and I can tell quickly that my father doesn't like Drake, but I had been acting like a lovestruck fool myself since I kissed Drake. I look over to Drake and catch his eyes before he looks away, then at my father who was now in his military uniform.

"It's time for your speech." He said.

"Right." I said getting up.

I turn to the room as my father taps the class with his spoon and veryone looks at me, I have only seen this done last year, when I was just a contestant not the champion.

"Gladiator's of big and small, rich or poor. You have done well today, for this is the end of tonight, you will be allowed to rest and recooperate for tomorrow we shall have a duel, in one of your soups is a golden ball that will declare who is to face me in the mourning. For whoever has it be prepared for there can only be one to stand tomorrow mourning, either I die or you die. This will be a contest of skill, for I will only fall to an opponent that truely can kill me, no amount of money will save. No amount of trickory will defeat me, I look forward to my opponenet tomorrow be ready for you face..." I stop mid sentence.

I take off my mask revealing my face to everyoneI brush my hair down with my hand and open my eyes and grin as the shock settles in.

"Me." I finish.

"I knew it! I knew it was you! You dirty wench!" Octavious yells.

"Shut up!" I retort throwing my mask and it slams into Octavious head.

Octavius-

Father and I walk down to dinner. Father walks off to find the bathroom and I sit down a chair waiting.

Eventuallly everybody gets to the table and Rutila, that stupid idiot, makes a speech,"Gladiator's of big and small, rich or poor. You have done well today, for this is the end of tonight, you will be allowed to rest and recooperate for tomorrow we shall have a duel, in one of your soups is a golden ball that will declare who is to face me in the mourning. This will be a contest of skill, for I will only fall to an opponent that truely can kill me, no amount of money will save. She pulled off the mask to reveal Rutila Nixion. "I knew it! I knew it was you! You dirty wench!" I yelled at her. "Shut up!" She yelled throwing the mask at my head.

I picked the mask up and threw it at the ground. "I hope I get that ball, so I can kill you, you b*st*rd!" I stood facing her, just as my Father walked back in.

Senator Cicero Trow-

I walk back in to see Octavius cussing at Miss Nixion. I suppressed the urge to laugh.

"I haven't missed anything have I?" I smiled, pretending to miss out on what had just occured.

I sat down next to Octavius as the servants brought out foodand whispered,"Good show, boy. Don't let her get the best of you."

He nodded and sat in silence staring into his food, with a blank face.
"General Nixion, the food is delicious." I complimented, "But not as good as ours, no?" I whispered to Octvaius, who laughed.

They call for dinner and I take Jesse into the dining room with me. We sit across from Rutila and Drake, Octavius on my one side. Rutila makes her speech and takes her mask off, throwing it at Octavius once he yells at her.

I scoot closer to Jesse, wanting to stay out of things, and feel her take my hand under the table. They scream at each other until Octavius' father walks in and takes the conversation in a differnet direction.

Only half-listening to what's going on around me, I glance down at the plate below me, wondering if I'd be unlucky one to face Rutila tomorrow.

Drake-
It took all my strength not to rip that idiot Octavius's throat out when he called Rutila a *****. However, I held it together because I knew, when the time came, she'd like the honors.
I look down at the plate in front of me, then at Rutila. I really hope I don't have that stupid gold ball, because even if I could take Rutila (which I can't) I still couldn't take her. I probably won't even struggle. And, it might be selfish, but I think it would still be really hard for her to kill me.

i called him over but then as he came over to me, a thought came to me, it turns out that i could let him be. he really couldn't do no harm to my plans. Drake was now here and instead of telling him anything, i tried to deduce the type of person he was, but he didn't stay long and then he left. But that was all right i had enough information.

Micah scoots close to me just as Rutila starts yelling at Octavious. I almost explode from all the yelling. I stand, having enough.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" I yell, both of them facing me. I swallow. "You guys have always Been like this! Why can't we just spend the last day of our lives liking eachother?" I ask, sitting back down at closing my eyes.

Rutila Nixion

My father takes a stand, and looks around carefully the look in his eyes I could tell was despair and sadness, but he hardened back into his normal state.

"Ladies and gentes may I direct your attnetion to your soap's so we may see who faces my daughter in combat tomorrow mourning." He said.

I didn't bother cause I would be fighting tomorrow regardless oif I had the golden ball or not, everyone took there soap spoon's and dived in I look to Jesse and Micah to see if they had it. To my surprise they didn't, Jesse would have made for a fine last opponet for me. I look around Octavious didn't have it, Drake didn't have it luckily. Then finally to Ivan who had a look of despair on his face, I smiled knowing I would be able to see the mourning sun tomorrow mourning.

I didn't have the golden ball. Pretty disappointed, because I really wanted to fight her. Ivan had it and I swallowed, realising this was probably not going to end well.
I looked over at Rutila, who was grinning. I let out a small chuckle, awaiting for what's to come.

I roam the corridors again, I didn't really want to be in that really loud place with the rest. I would probably find food from the kitchen, but just my luck, i couldnt find i at all. I then came by that portrait with cyrus, and i could recall all the strange things he said. Then one stands out.He sad he put it up there himself... Why on earth would he come to put a portrait here? i study the painting even closer and touch it. It was as if i was expecting something big to happen upon touching it. Yea right! like that'll ever happen. It didnt make sense at all thiugh, how did cyrus get to this place. From close up i notice that the painting is even more detailed then i thought, although one eye was green and the other blue. They looked the same colour from afar but they really weren't. Cyrus had blue eyes not green. The eyes looked life like, it was as if they were following me...Well one of them was. As freaked out as i am, i still want to be sure that its just a painting so i raised my finger to touch it...
