Defending Vortex(Canceled)

I will be a soldier for the Vortex, since you don't have anyone else. I'm new to storybooks, so I might not do the best job.

You are in! And that's okay. It doesn't matter!

We'll start when we get all the profiles!

Here's the first:

Name: Danara Mo Skandhaz

Age: 58

Gender: Male

Role: General

Appearance: Scrawny due to his age, with a thinning pate of hair. His eyes still glow bright with intelligence however. Stands slightly stooped and is surprisingly un-wrinkly (If that's a word!) considering his age. Wears the uniform of a common soldier.

Characteristics: Tires easily, has an incredible aptitude for tactics. Tends to tune out when concentrating hard which can be problematic if in a crisis. Hates throwing away men's lives if he can avoid it, but his loyalty is to Tarn and the King. Cautious, but knows when to take an opportunity.

History: Has been General of Tarn for twenty years, putting down rebellions, bandits, assassination attempts and the occasional crazed stalker. Very experienced, but has grown wary in his old age. Hasn't changed his basic tactics for years, as he hasn't had to. Old fashioned, from a different generation.

Other: No longer up for love, since his beloved Juliana died two years ago. He now devotes himself entirely to his role.

Name: Telluria mag'Alann

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Role: Captain

Appearance: Blonde, lean and dangerous. Telluria has some extensive scarring on her face, giving her a strange sort of beauty. Wears black ringmail, with golden shoulder pads in the shape of .

Characteristics: Ruthless. Will go to any lengths to achieve her objectives, even if she has to sacrifice an entire army. Ambitious. Isn't above resorting to dirty, underhanded methods to climb the political ladder. Dangerous. Reached her current position through skill, cunning and by slaughtering anyone who got in her way.

History: Grew up in the slums, where she learned to fight to thrive. Tried to sign up to the military, where she was ridiculed for being a woman. Beat her antagonists to unconsciousness right next to a lieutenant, who laughed and got her in at officer level. She rose quickly from there, eventually establishing her own company of soldiers, the Sombre Swords. These are her personal bodyguard and are supremely loyal.

Other: Not up for love, but "relations"? Yes. Has a pet pine marten.

Name: Jeremiah Kern

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Role: Vortex Soldier

Appearance: Short, dirty blond hair with a long scar across his forehead. He has a rather large nose, and a small mouth. He is 6'3 with long legs and an average weight and muscle mass. He wears the normal uniform of a vortex soldier, but keeps a 12 inch blade in his belt at all times.

Characteristics: Great cardio, but not the strongest soldier. He obeys orders well, but is a little shy, and doesn't like to draw attention to himself. He is brave, and always up for combat. He is humble and never takes the credit for a victory, but that is mostly not to draw attention to himself. He is very skilled with knives but lacks in hand to hand combat, and fighting with a sword.

History: Jeremiah comes from a family of soldiers. His father, grandfather, and brothers all fight for the Vortex. Except one, one of his brothers is a traitor and fights for Tarn. Jeremiah has a lot to live up to, both his father and grandfather were high ranking officers, and he one day wants to reach that rank as well.

Other: Up for love, though he has never had a girlfriend, and isn't experienced with romance. He is also shy, and never approaches girls.

Can I take the Prince's spot?

I've already got that spot...unless there's one for Tarn too.

I added new postions, like princess,prince and queen, just so you know. These spots don't have to be filled up, its just an option.
