Mia|Third period:potions\poisons

I was bored as hell right now. Nothing to do, that stupid teacher, making the rest of the students all just add water and heat together. I stood up and walked over to the window, it was open and I climbed through it and jumped onto the snow, I hate snow, its too cold. Since I have the element of fire my powers would just be weak. I walked over to a small tree and sat in it and started writing in my notebook, random things.

Whilst sitting in Potions (rather enjoyable to be honest, we're making a potion that makes you more resistant to fire) I noticed a girl slogging through my snow. Feeling mischievous, I concentrate on the tree she's heading for. Sure enough, within a minute of her having pulled out her notebook, hailstones the size of my thumb start cracking down on her. She runs back inside, shrieking the whole way with hailstones bouncing of her skull. I chuckle, then concentrate on adding the right amount of jalapenos to the pot in front of me.

Mia|third period

I walked back inside the classroom and the teacher handed me a slip saying to go to the principals office. I walked out of the classroom and went to his office, I knocked on the door and walked in.

Pixie, that last post made no sense. 1.How does Mia know it was Janos? 2. Why is she in regular Potions class, she was in advanced Potions a minute ago. 3. Shouldn't she be a little more, careful about setting people on fire?

Nero | Principal's Office

After a disagreement with a stupid boy in Potions, and causing three fingers on his right hand melt off as a result, I was sent to the principals office for detention. I really wasn't concerned, things like that were never a big deal in a place like this. I was told that my punishment was to organise files in the principals office, which was perfectly fine by me, it gave me a chance to snoop through and look for useful information.

As I sat in the principal's chair thumbing through financial reports, a girl dragged herself in, trying to look more confident than I'm sure she really was. Of course, I recognised her immediately. It was Mia. She looked prettier when she was pissed, but I knew to back off after all the sketchy looks Clark was giving her in Potions.

"What are you doing here?" She asked bluntly, expecting to see the principal.

"Serving my detention time. What'd you do to get yourself in here so fast?" I asked her smirking as I put the financial reports aside and started on a different stack of papers.

"I was texting and then, I snuck out of class." I smiled. I sat down next to him. "So, what do we do?" I asked looking at him. I had an idea that would probrabky get me in more trouble but, whatever. "How about this." I put my hand over all the papers and they dissapeared into ash. I almost burst out laughing.

I stood up and pushed the window out, I jumped through it and landed in the snow. "You coming?"

With him behind me I ran to the Dorms. All the Hero's in Classes '421' which was me, Nero and Clark have to share a dorm. It was kinda awkward sharing a room with two guys but I bet it won't be that bad. I walked into my room and sat on my bed. There was a regular bed, and a bunk bed. I took the top bunk. I set my stuff down. I was really suppose to be in detention right now, haha it's funny they would Think I would really go. I smiled and looked at Nero, "This is Clarks, mine and your room."

I raised my eyebrow at what she said. "Are you sure you're comfortable with that. Clark's kind of shady you know, I've known him since before high school, and...well..." I said trying to describe Clark in a few words.

"Jealous?" She laughed.

"No, why would I be jealous," I asked and she narrowed her eyes. "Oh, that came out wrong, sorry, nothing against you." I shifted awkwardly. "Anyway, it's nice I guess. The room I mean."

"Eh yeah, I've seen better." She looked distastefully upon the cheap wooden furniture.

"I feel like we should do something amazing to this room. Like paint it, or open up a portal to another dimension. Or something." I tried to laugh off my nerdiness when she grinned up at me.

"Speaking of portals, I heard there's a network of secret passages around the school. Wanna check that out?" She looked around her as if an entrance was hovering right over our heads.

"Sure, But we gotta be back in detention before 4th period starts." I smiled and walked out of the room.

I turned a corner and saw a door that said 'DO NOT ENTER'. And of coarse, I entered. There was mist all over and I coughed. "Okay so I think this is where they throw all the waste from the potions." I said walking into it. "Cover your nose."

I walked through a hallway after we got through the mist and it led us to all the classes. We snuck back into the principals office. Then when we turned around to face the desk, the principal was there. He interlocked his fingers and smiled. "So where have you been?" He asked. I grinned, "We wen't to go check on the Janitor. He looked like he was...Fainting." I smiled slightly.

The principal eyed me. "Sit down you two." He said pointing to the two chairs infront of his desk. I sat down and Nero sat down too. His hand accidently landed on mine and I smiled.

Nero | Principal's Office

Damn, it had been too short of a run and we were already landed back in the principal's office. As we sat back in the chair I felt our hands brush for a second.
I glanced at her to see if she noticed, she looked up and me and smiled.

A shot her back a grin before looking away quickly and facing the principal who was glaring down at us.

"We will not tolerate such careless breaking of our school rules. Generally when students break rules after their initial warning, we send them to the guidance counsellor. However, because this is your first warning, we will be a bit more lenient."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I smirked quietly at Mia.

I shrugged. "I think he means we have detention for like the rest of the month." I smiled and stood up. "Works for me." And I was just about to walk out when the principal called me, "Mia! Sit." I gave him a look and sat back down crossing my arms.

After he was done giving me this whole stupid lecture I finnaly got to go back to class. I sat down and the teacher looked at me. I touched a potion and it grew hotter and steam came off of it. "This is boring..." I muttered to myself.

Clark: Third Period

The girl was back in class; she sat in front of me with a slouch, that fiery hair of hers cascading onto her chair. I could almost feel it, stroke it. For a second, I thought I would, but remembered just in time that I wasn't an idiot.

I was craving a conversation with her, to find out if my attraction to her was nothing more than a shallow desire for a hot body, so I went with ol' reliable- pass a note to her. My bag contained an old, scruffy notebook, so I ripped a page out of that, concealing it behind a mass of test tubes I was supposed to be mixing. I wrote:

I'm Clark- don't think I've seen you round before.

I slid the note onto her desk, checking where the teacher was (examining some guy's mixture that had all but exploded at the back of the room) and giving her a brief smile when she turned round in surprise.

"Hey, roomy," she said, when she had seen my name on the paper. I squinted, quizzically. "Oh, you haven't seen your dorm, right?"

I nodded.

"We're sharing rooms this year! My name's Mia."

She smiled again, widely.

"Clark," I said, still taken aback.

"I know," she gave me a funny look. "You wrote your name on the-"

"On the note, yeah, sorry."

She raise a finger- one moment, please- and grabbed a gel pen from her pencil case, turning to the piece of paper. She wrote, and passed it back to me.

555-9876 This is my number, call me any time you like ; )

My heart leapt to my chest and I grinned.

"Although you probably won't need to, seeing as we're roomies, and all."

And she turned that paper-wink into reality, and I flapped my mouth into a stupid smile, contradicting my earlier statement; maybe I was an idiot.
