Hey im the main character too

Today was the day that I finally got to go to Diagon Ally. The headmaster came to me two days ago and said that he would send someone to take me to diagon ally. Now it's time to go but nobody has come. BANG! the door opens and there is the most humongous person that I have ever seen.
"Hallo! My name is Johnson! Professor Dofoogle sent me here to take you to Diagon Ally to get your stuff ready to go to Hogwarts!" He said smiling.
"O-ok! I-I'll just get my stuff!" I stuttered as I started to get ready.

Half an hour later we were in Diagon Ally. All I could say was "WOW!".
"Welcome to Diagon Ally!" said Johnson.

Nancy Belthorne-

I walked down Diagon Alley with my father to buy my schoolbooks and wand. My father has been beaming with happiness ever since I got the letter to go Hogwarts. I got an increase in my allowance and he promised to buy me an owl of my own when we went to Diagon Alley. We went into Olivander's and after 30 minutes my wand finally chose me.(Oak, 10 in. Unicorn hair, rather springy) After buying an Eagle Owl which I called Chuckles we sat and rested eating ice cream.

As I was finishing my Strawberry Fudge Delight I saw a girl walking with a man the size of a tree. My mouth hung open with shock, never had I seen anyone so tall. My dad whispered in my ear, " That's Johnson he's Hogwarts' groundskeeper. He shows around muggleborn children before school starts." He then shouted, "Hullo Johnson! Renember me Nate Belthorne?" Johnson ambled over and said," Ah, Nate. It's been too long!" The shook hands and my dad said,"This is my daughter Nancy. She's our first to go to Hogwarts.Who you got there?"

I walked down Diagon Alley with my hands in my pockets. I had been there many times before but i most often just went to the bank with mum or dad. Now i was completely alone and buying for my first year at Hogwarts. I first went to Flourish and Blotts to buy my school books, it didn't take very long for the first years disn't really have that many books. I wanted to go to Olivander's but it was taking forever for one girl with black hair to get hers so I hurried to get myself an Owl.

Picking an Owl is very hard! I kept changing my mind between a beautiful white owl and a brown and very intelligent owl, in the end i picked the brown one.

As i was walking out the door and thinking of names for my new companion when a tree like man walked past me. Not being able to take my eyes off of him I didn't notice the girl looking my way straight at my owl. She walked towards me and with a sweet voice asked me "Whats his name". I shook of my gawping look and stared at the girl and said "Haven't really decided yet". The girl put on a thinking look and said "What about Xylen?" Yeah ok it was a pretty good name but i still wanted to name it myself.

Knowing i would never do better I said "yeah that sounds cool, but who are you?" Before she could answer the tree man called after her and she ran to him.

I got very annoyed about this but i couldn't hold back the excitement of going to get my wand. Olivander is a very nice man, it didn't take long for my wand to pick me. (Holly, 12 in. Unicorn hair, reasonably pliant)

Happy and satisfied I walked out of the store and headed home.
