Cassie Rose It was raining hard as I lay in Deanna's room, flopped of her water bed like a forgotten pillow. Deanna was downstairs getting me something to eat since my parents were, as usual, later than summer last year. I'd been taking turns sleeping at Deanna and Flora's houses for two years now, ever since my parents got their latest jobs. For some reason, every job they switched to made them later and later getting home, and they felt the need to work at the same place, so I was always stuck at home for at least three hours every night. It had been Flora's idea that I started staying over, and Deanna had been quick to jump on the idea. It was five minutes before eight when the sirens started, and thousands of men in blue swarmed into Deanna's room. Ok, there weren't that many, but the way they drug me out of the house, you'd have thought I was a mass murderer or something. I slammed my head on the roof of the police cruiser, my eyes useless against the flare of orange and red bombarding them. Cradling my head, I sat in the back without caring what the police were doing. No doubt it was my stupid parents, freaking out because I'd forgotten to call about staying at Deanna's. It was just a stupid rule, and I'd known from the start I was bound to forget about it, but the 'perfect parents' hadn't listened when I'd told them that. The second I stepped into the suburban dungeon, I was attacked by angry eyes and biting words... A loud beeping flung me out of dreamland and into reality faster than a strike of lightning. Jumping to my feet, I flung my hands around wildly for a minute before my senses returned. Crap, I fell asleep on watch, good thing I'm alone in this place, or I'd be fired for "reckless actions". No matter how hard I try, no matter how much they need me, my employers are constantly looking for a chance to throw me out. I get it, I'm a liability, and who wants a teenage girl in on government secrets?
Allessandre P I was on here as Allessandre, but I changed my email and forgot about this site for a while. By the time I came back, I'd forgtten my password. My old account memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=15926
I sighed. It is my birthday today. Here comes the birthday party that they put up for me every year. I am finally 14. I heard everyone trying to keep the twins quiet. They never kept quiet or still for more than a minute. "I'm home!" I yelled as I walked through the door. "SURPRISE!" everyone cried. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

I stayed invisible as I prowled the streets. So far, nothing was out of the ordinary. If too quiet streets is what you call ordinary. For ages, I prowled the streets like a cat, quiet as a mouse and unseen like a ghost. So far, the government nor the local law or villians- if the latter ever showed face- could catch me. I was commonly called the Ghost, a suitable hero name for myself which came in handy when I go invisible. I said barely a word as I did my patrol.
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

Driver chooses the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole.- Dean to Sam, Supernatural
Walking away from the house I had just robbed and childishly destroyed, I couldn't help but think what I thought every time, 'That could have been my parents’ house'. Shaking my head to force out that thought, I looked into the big brown sack that I had stored what I had taken in, there was around about five hundred dollars’ worth of jewellery and jewels, around one million dollars that I had found in a safe that had been a little bit too easy to crack the code to. There was a lot more but I would look at it once I got back to base. So hoisting the sack onto my back I climbing swiftly up onto the roof of a close by house then running and jumping I made my way quickly and quietly to base.

I skim the outskirts of town, whistling the tune to a song I don't remember the title to, and look for something to grab my attention. A rushed girl pushes past me, a sack of something over her shoulder. I stop in my tracks and look back to her, wondering what could be in that bag.
