Group Therapy

My mom stared me in the eyes. "My child, Your so mad today arent you? Poor thing..." She said starcasticly. I was so angry at that point, I lit her foot on fire. She put her hand to her foot and the fire went out. She asked, "Have hurt anyone here yet?"

Dr. Raithen

My gaze shifted to the newcomer, a woman who might have been beautiful if such carnal delights held any relevance for me. My work was my all, and in this case, work had a beautiful face.
All interest in Rayah had left me the moment her mother walked into the room. If I could procure the DNA of a goddess, I would procure absolute power. Already I had achieved so much, but the ultimate prize now hung before my eyes.
Immortality.
A life free of the constraints of time, a life dedicated to my work, for all eternity. The thought pleased me.
Once I was sure no fireballs would come my way, I stood and extended my hand, already feeling the electric vibe of excitement coursing through my body.
"Aphrodite, it's a pleasure."

My mom lifted her arm out and I grabbed it. "Don't do it, I know what he's thinking." I looked at that guy as a warning. "I might be the demi-goddess of love and beauty but that doesnt mean I can burn you down in an instant." I grinned and pushed my mom out. "B-Bye?" She studdered as I closed the door on her.

Group therapy was more of a pathetic torture technique than help. He had been coming for three months and had not even said a word only his name. Raznic. Why should he answer any questions? He would be released in a month, that is if he did not try to escape again. He watched the group studying each person closely they would not get anything useful out of him.

Murderers. Who wants to live forever? Its not what everyone makes it out to be.

I seethed silently as I sat back down. The girl had put stay to my plan, but still, all was not lost. I would continue to wait patiently until ready to attempt to gather goddess DNA by other, more tangent methods.
I smiled. The rest of the group saw nothing, but then that was always the way, the masses going about their lives complacent with second best. Only when a true visionary came about could progress be made.
I am such a visionary.
No matter. In time, perhaps one or two would realise the defining difference in our respective positions, but they would never understand why.
Because who would realise why, of all the people in the room, I was the only one who had come of my own free will?
My smile grew.
