Allan

Asleep, I barely feel Fidelis move me and lay beside me, taking me once again in his arms. My subconscious runs at an alarming rate, creating dreams my old self would have never allowed to manifest. Who I am now would, and does, comforting me in a way. I'd never imagined I'd dream of Fidelis before.

I watched as his eyelids flutter. He was dreaming. What was his dream about, I had not the slightest idea. Nonetheless, I was surprised that he was so content sleeping in my arms. Whenever I tried to hold a woman or girl in my arms while she sleeps, she wakes up and runs away screaming. Allan was no doubt a very special matter. He was so content with being in my arms while he was asleep, like he knew he could trust me. I smiled at such a revelation. For once since I was sired as a vampire, I found a mortal who could trust me.

I stir in my sleep, curling up and cuddling more so into Fidelis. I find it strange that I'm so comfortable with him to sleep undisturbed in his arms. I would have never thought this would happen.
The dream, as pleasant as it was, ends but I don't open my eyes, not wanting to disturb him.

I set my head on his chest, listening to his beating heart. It was steady and beating like a slow drum. I looked at the time. I had five more hours until it was my turn to sleep. I got on my feet and strolled through my apartment, trying not to make a sound for Allan to rest in peace. I could still feel his body against mine even though I got off his bed. I had to be honest to myself that I was beginning to grow attached to him, which was unlike other vampires I've seen before I found and met him. Other vampires either killed their slaves or set them free when they grow tired of them. Killing Allan would murder me inside, but a lot worse if I set him free. A small part of me wanted to keep him, hold him for as long as I wanted, and let him know I would never leave him for another slave. I came to a final conclusion to my decision. Whether other vampires say so or not, I was willing to keep Allan for myself. Not just as a slave or companion, but also perhaps a lover if he was willing.

Fidelis leaves and I open my eyes, feeling a little strange without him. I roll on my back and take a deep breath, thinking. It surprises me when I realize that I probably wouldn't be able to survive well on my own, with real people, if Fidelis ever let me go. That fact alone scares me, my arms crossing over my chest.
A little more than lonely, I stand and head off to find him, wondering if he knew what I knew and wouldn't let that happen.

I was sitting in a rocking chair when I saw Allan come in. He looked lonesome, like he needed me to be around him more than never. I stood up and let him come into my arms, offering comfort to him. "It's okay, dear heart. Even if other vampires say I must, I will never let you go. I need you with me and we both know we can't go on without each other. I want to keep you for as long as you live. Long before you and I found each other, I never tasted blood just as special as yours. Each time I feed from you, I can't help but get lost in the sweet surrender of your blood." I held him close in a gentle embrace. "Allan, my dear, beautiful Allan. Don't think for one minute that I would let you go. There might never be another whose blood would have the sweet surrender like yours. I would rather keep you than let you go on your own."

I find Fidelis and he stands, holding his arms out for me. I walk into his embrace and look up at him as he begins to speak.

Long before you and I found each other, I never tasted blood just as special as yours. Each time I feed from you, I can't help but get lost in the sweet surrender of your blood." He says.
I flash a smile, happy he understood.
"Allan, my dear, beautiful Allan. Don't think for one minute that I would let you go. There might never be another whose blood would have the sweet surrender like yours. I would rather keep you than let you go on your own." He continues.
My heart does a skip, something I never thought would happen around him, and I blush slightly. Did he just call me beautiful?

I saw him blush, but still held him in my embrace. "It's okay. You're such a treasure to me, a treasure that I will never let anyone take from me. When I first saw you, I almost thought you were made by the gods to relieve me of my solitude. For centuries since I was made, I've lived all alone and had no one to look after besides myself. Now that I have you, I would go through numerous amounts of pain just to keep you alive and in my stead. As long as I'm still kicking, you'll never be alone or in danger. No one will take you from me. I won't allow it. We need each other, so we must look after one another." My legs started to weaken. My bedtime was coming and sneaking up on me. Still holding Allan in my gentle embrace, I took him to my room and set him in a chair next to my bed. "It's time for me to rest, dear heart. Feed yourself whenever you're ready, but be sure to stay here when I rise for my fair share of feeding. Until I wake, do what you need to do and return here whenever you want to." I went in my bed and fell asleep almost instantly.

He carries me into his room and sets me in the chair, telling me that he needed to rest.

"Feed yourself whenever you're ready, but be sure to stay here when I rise for my fair share of feeding. Until I wake, do what you need to do and return here whenever you want to." He says, laying down and falling asleep.

I stay put for a moment, watching and thinking about everything he'd said, before silently making my way to the kitchen and pouring another glass of orange juice to stay hydrated for him. I wait a few moments before making myself something to eat, remaining as silent as possible in order to respect him while he sleeps.

Shortly after I fell asleep, I started dreaming. I was in a lonely house with Allan in the country, being as far away from the city as possible. Every now and then, Allan would go outside for some air, then always return to my arms. While he was sleeping, I would hold him close to my chest and carry him around the house, often rocking him gently to help him sleep. Each time I fed from him, the sweet surrender would spread all over him and me as I held him so lovingly in my arms.
I smiled in my sleep. I never had such a dream before, but it felt so right I almost wished it would actually happen.

After eating, I silently make my way back to Fidelis and sit in the chair. He smiles in his sleep and I wonder what he dreams of, watching him. I wonder if he dreams of me as I dreamed of him. A light smile flickers across my face at the thought, not minding that at all.

After a long while, I finally wake from my rest. I sat up and pulled Allan to me, holding him in my arms gently. I set him down beside me, then took his wrist to feed from him. His blood, special and evermore delectable, flooded my senses in a sweet surrender and filled me with bliss. I only took five mouthfuls from him, which was plenty enough for me. After taking my fangs out of his wrist, I pressed my lips against it in a more delicate fasion. Being as gentle as I could, I kissed his wrist twice over. I laid down and held him in a gentle embrace. "How does that feel, dear heart? Don't be afraid to speak your mind."

Fidelis wakes and pulls me next to him, taking me in his arms. He feeds from me, a strange blissful feeling sent throughout my veins, and thoughts of kissing him or being kissed by him flood my mind. He finishes his feeding and kisses the wound twice, laying down and pulling me with him.
"How does that feel, dear heart? Don't be afraid to speak your mind." He asks.
I look up at him, unsure what to say at first.
"Good." He responds stupidly, blushing and looking away.

I saw him blush again. In spite of that, I pressed him closer to me until his chest was against mine. My bedsheets were the only thing between us, but not for long. I snuck him under the sheets, using them to keep him warm. "It's all right, dear heart. You don't have to talk if you don't want to. It's fine with me." Holding him close, I kissed his neck, cheek, and landed on his lips. I kissed his lips delicately and sweetly, holding his head in one hand and holding the rest of him with the other arm. Doing this made me feel content with him, holding him so lovingly and tenderly like he was a lover.

He pulls me closer, until our chests are pressed against each other, and slips me under the sheets with him.
"It's all right, dear heart. You don't have to talk if you don't want to. It's fine with me." He says.
He kisses my neck, then my cheek, to land on my lips. My eyes close and I kiss back, believing every word he'd said before even more with this action.

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.
