I had an idea today to start up a blog told from the viewpoint of someone who is leaving Earth to be among the first settlers on Mars. Maybe it'll work out, and maybe it won't, but for now I hope to update it daily.

Check it out at:

And let me know what you think :P

Plus, doing this might finally get me writing again.

I like that you incorporated details of your real life (I think so, anyway) with the fictional bits. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it; looks like it could be lots of fun to read.
"He yanked himself free and fled to the kitchen where something huddled against the flooded windowpanes. It sighed and wept and tapped continually, and suddenly he was outside, staring in, the rain beating, the wind chilling him, and all the candle darkness inside lost."

Thanks smaur, Adam and Kay! I've added a second post today and changed the details about being a beaurocrat to being a soldier in the first post.

I'm sharing this with quite a few people, so you can definitely pass it on Kay. I'm hoping that doing something like this will get me back in the novel writing mood. I can even use what I'm writing as an outline for the novel.

Yeah, this does look cool. I bet that some people could think you're really going to Mars! Haha. I'll be watching. :)

Got YWS?

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground.
