Thrern laughs as the fight ends. He moves toward Selene and Daniella and says, "I can honestly say that was the first time I've ever seen a god fight. That was..." He trails off, searching for the right words. "Interesting," he decides on.
"I've got power and I know it," Daniella responds smiling.
Selene giggles before adding, "That song, 'Sexy and I Know It' is going through my head now."
Thrern has no clue what song their talking about, but he smirks with them. Glancing over at a young boy at the bar, he wonders what excitement this mysterious kid will bring. Almost every character who enters the Mad Hatter's has some sort of story of their own.
Thrern adjusts the scabbard holding his sword and yawns. As his stomach grumbles with annoyance, he waves the bartender over and asks her for a quick snack. Thrern plans to stay here for awhile, liking the crowd the tavern draws in.

I look flirtaciously at Thrern, as I walk back over to the bar and order a drink. I smile as I remember the thoughts of the fight.

Thrern gives one of his makes-the-girls'-hearts-melt wink. He glances over Daniella who flashes a disgusted look to him.
His food arrives steaming so he sits back down on the bar to eat.

I form a fireball between my fingers and start playing with it. I dropped it oops! It lit the floor on fire, I froze it them broke it. I looked nervously around to see if anyone saw that. I sit back on the bar. "How old are you?" I asked Thrern.

I walked into the Mad Hatter's Tavern hoping to escape from the idiots chasing me. I hated being caught in the middle of a job. I blinked surprised. "Hi Athena." I greeted. "Belladonna what are you doing here?" She asked shocked. I froze hearing heartbeats. "Trying to hide." I sighed as the three guys who were chasing me burst through the door. I swore in Greek and walked towards them. "You killed our boss!!!" The middle one shouted. "Yes I did." I replied settling back into a loose crouch letting my fangs drop. One of them swung at me but I saw it coming. I grabbed his arm twisted it until I heard something snap I used his arm to lift my legs up and slammed both my feet into his solar plexus. He was thrown into a wall and laid there still. I was grabbed an arm across my throat. I let myself rock back and he took my weight. I tilted forward throwing him over my head and his own head slammed into the floor. I turned away from him and noticed the last guy was gone. I smiled slightly and walked to the bar noticing everyone staring at me. I bowed from the waist politely my black hair falling in front of my face. "Belladonna Shadow at your service. Vampire witch halfer." I introduced. I straightened up. "Now will you all please introduce yourselves?" I inquired sitting down on a barstool.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

I smiled in reply trying to place her in my memory. "Yes I went to appeal to your mother to help the war on the half of the halfers and you helped persuade her. I never thanked you for that so thank you." I said bowing my head.

After Thrern formally introduces himself to Belladonna, he remembers Selene's question.
"How old am I?" He ponders this for a moment, as if he can't seem to remember. "29 or 30. I haven't thought about it in awhile, though. I suppose when you're always doing something important, age seems to slip by without your notice." He looks again over at the young boy at the bar, before turning back to the three girls.
"By the way, who exactly are these gods?" he wonders. "I haven't heard of them before."

"I live in a realm far from here, known as Silrea," Thrern responds. "We have different gods who visit in my country." His eyes sparkle as he finishes.

Suddenly, flashes of images and faint memories collide together and form as Thrern remembers meeting Selene. His eyes widen in shock when everything comes back to him. The escape, the chase, the war, Selene. However, as the girl stares at him expectantly, Thrern pretends to not recall the incident and their encounter. He does a good job of seeming puzzled as he responds, "No, I'm sorry, Selene. I think we may have seen each other at one time, in another place, but it was nothing of importance."
Thrern feels guilty for lying, but knows it is better this way. He takes a small bite of the food, warmth filling his body.
Daniella shifts uncomfortably as Selene says, "Oh."
Belladonna moves closer to Thrern and whispers in his ear, "I know you're lying." Thrern just gives a subtle wink her direction.

I shrug and smile. "I guess so. I just swore I remembered you. You looked sooo familiar" I laughed in disbelief. "Are you sure?" Selene looked into his eyes. "I have seen you before!" I said remembering him. "Its so clear now!"

Thrern reaches for his sword, just in case the conversation goes the wrong way. "What do you remember?"
