Twit wrote:Dude. I'll be marrying Jude Law or Misha Collins or a beautiful hybrid of both, so everything else just pales into significance.

You GOT to love Jude and Misha. As for me, I'll probably do what my uncle did. Get a local DJ, buy a couple nice dresses (his wife wore this awesome blue-green prom gown), get married in my back yard, and just forget the cake, have a barbeque instead. And then slip on my heels and dance the night away. The man I marry should let me handle everything XD

I don't know a lot of these. Of course, I'm not even sure that I want to get married at all. I don't really see the point these days. There's no tax advantage, and it hearkens back to the days when women were considered property. But that's my rant over.

It would be lovely if I could wear my mother's wedding dress, which is a beautiful, elegant ball gown which apparently looks lovely with my complexion.

As for bridesmaids, my maid of honour will be my sister, and I'm not sure about the others. But there was this one episode of Friends, with Phoeboe's wedding, and the bridemaid's dresses there were amazingly beautiful. *Finds picture* There, this one will have to do. You can see Rachel's (left). Monica's (right) is the same except with a different coloured skirt.

And I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to get married in a forest. In spring, with flowers around. :D

So, I don't really know if I'm the marrying type, and thus the whole marrying part of weddings is frankly terrifying. But, thinking about the wedding minus that tiny detail is super fun!

- what will your wedding dress be?!?

I always thought something like this, with spaghetti straps instead of the shoulder ones, and a less scandalous neckline: http://www.mltailor.com/product_images/ ... _29382.jpg

It has to be short because.....

- where will the wedding be held?!?

In the mountains. And not in a cabin or at a mountain resort. I mean in the mountains. Camping. Hiking. If there are people in the party who can't hike, we'll keep it somewhere easily accessible (there's a bridge at our favorite camping spot that I have in mind...)

- what will the bridesmaids' dresses be?!?

You might have guessed that this was a small wedding, so there won't be much in the way of bridesmaids. But. what few there are will be

http://www.bestdressmall.com/images/l/av290.jpg

Because it is my favorite color

- who are the bridesmaids?!?

Uh, my two best friends from high school and my current best friend. They are also probably the three who wouldn't kill me for having a wedding in the mountains.

- who's the maid of honour?!?

Tradition says it's my sis?

- what song will you walk down the aisle to?!?

You mean the trail? Sound of the rushing river. I mentioned this was on a bridge, right?

- what will the cake be like?!?

Chocolate. I don't really care beyond that.

- what is your ring like?!?

I always imagined it'd look like this: http://www.lotrjewellery.com/images/the ... 20lotr.jpg

If not, just a simple gold band. It's hard enough for me to wear rings as it is

- what song will be your wedding waltz?!?

Oh, yeah, the dancing part.... Skip.
I don't fangirl. I fandragon.

Haha, yeah, I was just thinking of that. I would want to discuss this with my fiance on all these particular details. Though, I know that I would want a church wedding and I think my mom's wedding dress is gorgeous, so I might wear something like that.

Also... veils are awesome. I am wearing one.

I want a really simple wedding, and a quick one, if possible. I don't want to bore anyone...

- what will your wedding dress be?!?

hmmm, I'm not sure exactly, but there needs to be a corset involved. I'm not sure that I want white either. Maybe black and white. Or maybe red. Red is my colour. Quite possibly something like this, which I really love: Image

- where will the wedding be held?!?

Outside, hopefully. If it was in Autumn, with pretty trees around, that would be cool. The beach in Summer would also be good.

- what will the bridesmaids' dresses be?!?

- who are the bridesmaids?!?

- who's the maid of honour?!?

Actually, I don't think I want any bridesmaids. I just want to keep things simple and small.

- what song will you walk down the aisle to?!?

ummm, not sure. My partner can decide that. XD

- what will the cake be like?!?

Delicious.

- what is your ring like?!?

I looked at heaps of pictures, but I still have no idea.

- what song will be your wedding waltz?!?

I don't know what counts as a waltz, but I would love to slow-dance to 'Great Expectations' by Elbow.
Reader, what are you doing?
