Cypher

"Listen Larkinus i'm sorry about the gun alright? I just, well, i don't know what happened. Strength of the Dragon felt like an extension of my arm. Like it was made for me and me alone. But then i held Fireborn after Grimalkin the Elven Smith finished her." I stroked the hilt nonchalantly. "She's no extension. She is a piece of my soul in sword form. Predatory, awe inspiring, agile. Deadly."
Renns shadow passed overhead as the dragon swooped and whirled looking for a safe place to demonstrate its power. I could see Harbinus in the distance.
"Keep it tight people. Now is no time to get la..." I cut off the sentence and began scanning the roadside intently.
"What is it?" Whispered Larkinus.
"I smell lycanthrope. To faint to identify species at this point but it is definitely not human and it is one of my kind. Based on the way it wanders i would suggest it's not a werelion. It could be nothing. Lets just get to Harbinus. We've got a princess to rescue!"
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

Renn Ariyal:

Renn picked up Cypher's words easily as he flew low over the forest. The trees tops swayed, buffeted by the wind of his passage. Against the night sky he looked like a winged shadow. The vibrant blue color of his scales hidden by the darkness. That was one thing he wanted to keep a lid on, at least until they were closer to their goal. The spines that made up his mane rang softly as they clinked against each other, like the chiming of many bells.

Twisting in the air Renn pumped his wings for altitude until he was a speck in the sky. He hung suspended over the earth, searching for signs of movement. His keen eyes picked up several groups traveling by torchlight in the woods, one of which looked to be in some sort of trouble. The last group was somewhat ahead of them, just entering the outskirts of town.

He circled high above their heads confirming his suspicions that these were the rival groups. Renn banked sharply and folded his wings as he entered a ground scorching dive. Seconds before he barreled into his teammates and crashed into the unforgiving earth he pulled up, flaring his wings to slow his velocity.

Several of the horses reared in panic, the whites of their eyes still showing as Renn shifted to human form mid air. The young dragon timed his landing so that he fell perfectly onto Valiant's saddle as the stallion stood placidly. Renn slipped his feet into the stirrups and settled back comfortably. "The groups behind of us have started to run into trouble." Renn told the others then glanced at Halieo. "I think you're bandit friends set out a welcoming committee. Still, there's a decent sized group ahead of us that should be entering Harbinus in about half an hour."

*Can I make a character for Shameazol. I just think this thing would go faster if someone commanded the bad guy, and I need the practice.*
