I particularly like how big and bright and bold the Messages and Notifications buttons up top get when you have either. It makes them hard to miss.

Content ratings for literary works are back and better than ever.

In addition to the normal E, 12, 16, and 18 ratings, you now have the option of marking what those ratings are for: language, violence, and/or mature content.

If a work is rated 16+ or 18+, a warning will also accompany the work at the top. Example:

Heh, not quite. Apollo will never be finished!

But, it does mean the main stuff is pretty much complete now. The only major missing feature from YWS 4.0 is the Contest section, and that's not a priority.

I like the additions of the content warnings; great idea. The only thing now that would be lovely to restore, is tracking posts. As it is, I have no way of checking if someone has replied to a review beyond favouriting/liking the work itself to be notified of a response - even then, that response may just be another reviewer. A way of "getting around" this would be to "unbug" the "see user's posts" link. Personally whenever I try to click this button, YWS tells me that there is no recent activity.
I have an approximate knowledge of many things.

Everyone ->> Mark my words. There will never, ever again be a banner image on the front page with so much purple and pink, and with hearts in it. Never, ever again.

*that you put there. You're discounting Heather and 'Rina entirely with this statement!

Pish posh. It shall never happen! I feel like I ate an entire bag of Valentine's Day candy hearts just looking at it.

Close, very close.

After Valentine's Day something on the completely opposite end of the spectrum will go up so as to balance the palate. The sheer cuteness of the current banner is overwhelming me.

For the record: the explosion of pink usernames can be attributed to the deviousness of Rydia.
