YWS: Apollo Updates Thread

Thanks, Nate!

Helicopter ROCKS

Anyways, thanks Nate for the lovely Portfolio and the GREAT about page

You're welcome Demeter and alfred

Everyone ->> Just finished with making some significant changes to the submission form. I've tested it using a variety of document formats, browsers, and even non-Latin languages, and all tests have passed with flying colors.

If you continue to experience problems with it, then please let me know in the report a site bug thread.

Some changes to profile comments:

- Can delete comments on own wall.
- Only one notification per mentioned user.
- Comments consisting solely of "Update status" or "Leave a message" will throw an error and will not go through.

This should help people with managing their profile. For the time being, deletion of replies to comments is not available, although it will be at some point.

However, editing of comments will not happen. This is due only to the complexity of the coding required.

The "is this a review?" checkbox on literary works has been jazzed up.

Editing for reviews and literary comments has been enabled.

This does not apply to replies of reviews/comments. It'll happen at some point, but it's not a priority for the time being.

Last but not least for tonight: breadcrumbs. They go below the navigation tabs and basically show you where you are on the site right now. They're somewhat superfluous, but are helpful with literary works.

I really like the 'breadcrumbs'. It's just one of those little things that makes YWS so user friendly!

Thank you Rydia!

I do loove the new switch thing! (i-esque!)

But. What breadcrumbs? I'm guessing the birds ated them. Because I can't find the trail... Now if only I could wander around and find a house made of yum.

Girl, Lava, I feel you. I thought they had always been there, 'cause they used to be and it felt like just putting on an old shoe or something, but the breadcrumbs go like this at the top of this page:

Home » Welcome » Information Desk

And let you know if you're in subforums and stuff. c:

The header area of literary works has received a minor touch-up to make it more attractive and more helpful.

You can now save drafts of reviews/comments to literary works.

;n; Did you just add line numbers to poems? My hero!

{or have they always been there?}

Haha, you caught me while I was experimenting with that!

I've been trying to add line numbers to poems for years, but I can never get it to work correctly.
