Who's thought about their resolutions for the new year? What are they?

For me:

-- finally move on and learn from things that happened this year in my life

-- eat a more balenced, wholesome diet with more fruits, veggies, and whole grains, and less dairy and eggs

-- study as hard as I can; complete ALL homework and try for straight As; if I don't understand something something, don't just blow it off

-- get a job

-- open up more to people, be more social and less introverted

-- make the most of everything that life throws at me

How about for you guys?

All our dreams can come true — if we have the courage to pursue them.

I've some resolutions so far! I failed one of mine from this last year around summer time, so I'll try for that again this year. Overall, I did pretty well on that one. Anyway, I'll get into that!

-- Review more. I definitely picked this one up last year, but I would really love to do more of this.

-- Read more. Ever since I got my Kindle, I've been reading more already. I'm going to try for a whimpy 10 books this year, but hey. It's a start!

-- Study more. I'm tired of getting C's. I miss my old record of only A's and B's. I never got C's 'til university and I got lazy in second year. So I'm aiming for better grades!

-- Clean up language. And by that, I mean no more saying "crap" and other minor swears that are actually not that censor-worthy. xD I had the "crap" one last year, and I only said the word maybe five times all year. I'm aiming for zero this time. ...Again. But yeah.

-- Smile more! I always have this one. Every year. But it's a good one, and I just feel better and better as life goes on because I have this resolution to aim for. So I'm keeping it!

-- Less soda. I swear. It's just awful. xD

That's all I've got at the moment! Happy 2012, everyone!

1) Plan my time carefully. I'm terrible at this, and it often means I waste a lot of time, even when I have no time to waste.
2) Be more involved in YWS. 'Cause I love you guys.
3) Write! I want to write/finish my novel and write some more non-fiction stuff.
4) Get better at German.
4b) Go to Germany and work!
5) Smile more. (I'm stealing this one from Jabs because I love it.) I get stressed a lot and simply smiling will hopefully help me with that!

1. Read more! The past semester has been hellish with so much going on at school and not at school. I love reading and I hate not being able to.

2. Spend less... I'm known for going out to the mall and shopping until my card is declined. And then I feel guilty after. So, no more clothes. I need to save for Germany.

3. Review more - I really need to. I haven't done a whole lot since YWS had its makeover and I miss it, I really do.

4. Write a whole lot. I haven't done anything like this in forever and I've recently started writing a little idea which I don't want to leave incomplete.

5. Do my homework!

6. Keep my room and bathroom tidy. It's usually a horrible mess, full of clothes and makeup and books and writing things. I actually did clean my bathroom yesterday but I'm scared to tackle my bedroom. And we now have a housekeeper, so I need to have everything semi-clean.

7. Take advantage of the free Rosetta Stone courses offered by my school district and learn Arabic and/or Mandarin!

8. Lastly, I'm going to make sure I know tons of German by May. I want to be semi-fluent... just enough so I can carry a decent conversation without pausing, really.

I do these things every year, actually I do them all the time. But this year I really want to keep trying, because my problem is that if I miss one day I totally give up. But this is going to no longer be the case!

1. First, I want to eat healthier. I actually eat healthier than a lot of people I know, but when I eat junk food on a holiday, I keep eating junk food for a week afterword, and that is bad.
2. I also need more exercise... I hate it :P
3. I want to read 100 novels this year. That is about two a week. I think to manage this I am going to have to ban myself from websites like TasteofAwesome that waste my time.
4. I want to write at least 500 words a day besides school and work. This sounds like it should be easy, but I doubt it will be.
5. I want to read one chapter of a book out loud at least every week. Reading out loud is something I want to get better at.
6. Review, review, review. Just think about it, if I did one review every day this year by today next year I would have 365 more reviews! : )

Stuff that would be cool for me to do, but I doubt I will:

7. Become a featured member for the month, at least once. I mean I'm a junior mod so I should be able to accomplish this too. Not that I ever manage to do more than ten reviews a month.. :P
8. Draw/ take more pictures. Either or both. Maybe I could start by doing one of those 'thirty day photography challenges' or something.
9. Learn piano. I used to know how; now I can't even name a note.
10. Do Nano, and finally win it for once.
11. Keep my room clean! I keep my room clean most of the time and my friends call me clean freaks, but I can get so much more done then when I clean my room. Lately I have been slacking and instead of doing something productive after school I end up just watching TV or something. I have to get back into the habit of cleaning my room!

Edit - I had more!

Mine: To actually do stuff.

xD No, I'm joking.

#1: Stop procrastinating.
#2: Finish the two novels I'm working on, and my co-novel with Spark.
#3: Read more.
#4: Pass my A-levels, then go to Uneh.
#5: Allow myself to be who I want to be.

My fave, #6: Always be awesome. (And that one goes for all of you, except Jabster and Demi who are always so awesome)

Maybe some of these aren't technically resolutions... but whatever.

1. Get my driver's license this year.
2. Keep my school's publication... well, alive, until I graduate.
3. Get my first job this year. (Not that I haven't been trying...)
4. Write more. A LOT more. And read more. A LOT more!
5. Maybe watch a bit less Phineas and Ferb.
6. Nah, forget that last one.
6. Draw the sun setting with TheWritersDream.
7. Watch a movie with TheWritersDream.
8. Write a story with TheWritersDream.

I have mainly
1) Read LESSER. Yes lesser. Reading one fat novel a day is not good.
2) Do not procrastinate. That sums nearly everything up.
4) Break 90 in golf.
5)Review more.
6) Talk more. This will kill some people but I think I'm pretty quiet.
