The Name Game

Here's how this works. I will begin with the name of my character, and then a description of him/her. I will end my post asking "What's your character's name?" to the next person. Then the next person answers and ends with the same question and so on.

You have to say your characters name, but other than that you can talk about anything. Their appearance, their hopes, dreams, their duties, what they do for a living, their past, their family, whatever you want. Just give some insight into them.

My character's name is Lizabeth Orwell. She is a very bold girl who lives with her band of freedom fighters in the middle of New York City. What she does for a living is fight the O.B.K (Organization of Bleeding Knees) that have taken over the city and all of the U.S in the year 3012. Lizabeth is an orphan, the O.B.K having killed her parents when she was seven. She hopes to save other orphans and rid the world of the O.B.K. She is very stoic, and has a knack for leadership.

What is your character's name?

My character's name is Andrew Demson.

Andrew is a twisted Headmaster of a corrupt school that kills one student a term, in the name of sacrifice and justice. His son, Max, is desperately ill with leukaemia, and believes sacrificing enough souls to God will please Him and cure Max of his disease. He is wrong, of course.

So far, he has been lucky. His school is isolated and rich enough that it can avoid run-ins with the government fairly well, but he is beginning suspect a stir among the students and teachers who are disgusted by his sick discipline system.

His appearance? Sinister. Always dressing in black, with a sickly pale face and short black hair, slicked tightly over his scalp, Demson creates a feeling of unease simply by walking into a room, and of fear when he starts talking.

Mr Demon, the Grim Reaper and Angel of Death are just some of the nicknames created by students of his school.

So, what is your character's name?

My character's name is George Theodore Arthur Montgomery, in all its glory! He's a young man who enlists in Queen Victoria's army as a cavaryman in 1854, aged just seventeen and afflicted with a rosy, clouded view of the world. All that soon changes, however, when the first significant action he sees is the Battle of Balaklava, and he's almost killed in the Charge of the Light Brigade...

My character's name is Jacinta Rae.

Fifteen-year-old Jacinta was recently declared a Beauty and taken from her family and home in the Southern Camps after watching her brother be shot by her kidnappers. Now she is a servant, play toy and blood bank to an important vampire in the Ivory Palace.

She's quiet, submissive, shy and considers herself to be weak. Jacinta longs to be brave and fearless like her brother, Kealan. She wants to stand up for herself, to fight, but how can she, a mere human girl, face an army of vampires?

On the outside, Jacinta is a small girl, short, a bit round and very curvy. Her thick chestnut hair flies around her like a wild mane. She has a dark tan from the hot, sunny weather that is common in the Southern Camps and warm brown eyes. A label is tattooed to the back of her neck in thick, bold lettering. It marks her as vampire property and keeps her prisoner.

My character's name is Blaze Riley and, ironically, she's a vampire. I'm very sorry Jacinta was mistreated like that, but Blaze herself probably wouldn't care.

She's a vicious killer with no regard for human life, or at least she likes to believe that. Humans are food to her, nothing else. Her one desire is to stop Lilith, the original vampire, from bringing her lover Lucifer on Earth and bringing Hell to this planet. In order to do this, she needs to protect a samodiva (nymph) called Anna, who has to be sacrificed. Blaze is a trained warrior, vicious vampire, and will stop at nothing to save Earth from Hell.

My characters name is Adam Felderman though if you have ever heard of him before it would be with the alias Joden Pinewood.

He is an assassin from a time in the future when scientific DNA swapping is permitted on humans (it's illegal now). Well, he was an assassin until he was caught on one particular contract and thrown into prison for life. He got out on very good behavior and is now trying to turn his life around.

Adam's old life still follows him however, as a life of crime isn't one you can run away from.

He has always been able to sense emotions but with his own, self modified DNA, he has gained many traits from powerful warriors of the animal kingdom. When your trying to live a normal life, these extra traits and powers whispering in your head to do what you've always known is unbearable.

My character's name is Dean Fletcher. He is a clairvoyant, who can also read minds. He is spending his summer in a haunted mansion, where his strange uncle is keeping many a secret from him. (It's hard to keep secrets from a mindreader, though...)

My character's name is the shy but sweet Anabelle McLaughlin. She has a pretty fair life in her small, Midwestern town of Numbers: decent grades, good friends, a pleasant Christian family, and best of all, a bright-flight scholarship to Missouri's finest art school. Everything seems to fall into place for her, until she befriends with the new girl in town from California: Calico Bridger, a Goth-accessorizing poet/writer who is openly lesbian and has an interest in Anabelle.

As her family and town persecute and ridicule Cali and her sexuality, Anabelle sticks to the sidelines, unable to say a word without upsetting her tranquil and promising life. But, when she finds out that Cali is beginning to contemplate suicide after so much bullying, Anabelle must find the strength to stand up for her friend and her beliefs.

My characters name is Selene Blade. Shes a vampire, she lives in New York and goes to school with reggular children. Her name represents her power (Power of the moon). when she gets mad at her bestie- Holly, Selene turnes Holly into a vampire as well, causing Holly to change her name depnding on her power, (Holly's new name is Ambrosia meaning the power of immortality.) Ambrosia AKA Holly hasturned slightly evil, becoming a popular teenager in her school wheras before she was a geek. So, Selene with the work of her other friend which is also a vampire ( The friends name is Thiya meaning Bacchic frenzy.). In this book, Selene and Thiya have to try to do this without their thurst and hunger/ powers take over.

My character's name is Jason Eisenfaust.

He is a mere human male who is struggling to keep up with the funds that his education demands. Thus, he takes on the jobs that the Council have provided for the public on The Board. Since the 23rd century, more and more people have fallen ill and in need of special treatment and make up 40% of the population. Hence the need for The Council to allow the public to take on the responsibility to look after their impaired. Here in the 26th century, he specializes in social work and a sorts of community service sentence as all citizens like him are given to do. Jason only wishes to be able to make money (which is how he chooses to apply for any of the jobs that he goes for), and despite the general success that he achieves throughout all of the jobs that he was able to accomplish, by helping the mentally ill and physically impaired as he's paid by the month, until they are announced to be moved to a different facility for treatment. He originally could not care less as money was his only motivation, looking down on the "impaired".

He eventually applies to a mute specialized job which was left untouched on The Board for 4 years, which had at first cost a lower amount before being upgraded by 400% in terms of pay. ($750/month) Jason gets the job after a single interview, once the social worker in charge of the mute notices that he is able to understand her better than most, assigning him as her only connection and hope to be able to communicate with the rest of the world.

The mute that he is to look after is the high maintenance and incredibly demanding Miss Trishalle Devons who is a decade his senior. He finds her very strange and eccentric, often having to accompany her to mental institutions and pretty much anywhere as she pleases. While she is recluse and unable to speak, he finds that she is much a human being as he is and goes through several moral changes in his character.

My characters name is Von Kyodai. He grew up trying to be the perfect son and classmate. Now that he is 18 he has the entire town falling for him. He will hit on any female- human, elf, ect. Because he is a natural with a blade he never has to try to be good- though he never quits half way threw. Von is that super popular kid that you can't help but like him.

He has an adopted sister named Elspeth, who he protects- sometimes a bit to much. When Max starts teaching Elspeth to fight Von is completely against it, but soon realizes that sharing Elspeth is a good thing. Near the end of the book Von and Max actually begin talking on equal terms.

Because of his natural leading ability Von is placed in charge his group; it starts as six of them but later becomes eight. He tends to be protective over the things he 'owns'- mostly Elspeth and Scarlet. As he grows his childish tantrums turn him into a great leader that is needed for the war.

Von is in love with his oldest friend Scarlet Hian, they meet when they were 6. Throughout the novel Scarlet repetitively hits Von making him believe she hates him, though its the opposite. Having been in love with him for 12 years Scarlet tends to get embarrassed by Von and responds in violence. In the middle of the novel Scarlet's father states that the strongest fighter will take her hand. Hearing this Von enters the contest- but I won't tell you if he wins or if the top ranked fighter that has loved Scarlet her whole life will win.

What's your characters name?

The Masquerader
A hero in the shadows of the city of Akuhnuan. He wears a porcelain mask. No one knows what his name is, but the natives of the town fawn over him. Why? He is the personification of the freedom they long for. He ambushes soldiers of the conquering empire in broad daylight and attacks them from the shadows and rooftops. He uses a bow and enchanted arrows that return without him having to fetch them. He's putting his life on the line, but is he really making an impact? He doesn't know. Maybe he should come into the light.

Funnily enough, Miss Masquerade.
Or that's what she goes by to the public, at least. Her real name is Valentine Charice. She's seventeen years of age, human by appearance and inhuman by ability. Looks can definitely be deceiving, can't they? No one would expect a little red-haired, hazel-eyed teen to be part of a league of superheroes, per say. She looks harmless, and her normal speech make her sound the same. After being through what she has, no one could really blame her for being a bit reserved. Get her into her costume, though, and she's ready to take on crime. Super villains? No problem!
