The symbol of Ares:
Age- Looks about 50 Personality- Incredibly quick and fiery temper, Ares is always one to start a fight, and finish it. He loves war, thrives in it, and is edgy and restless when he isn't fighting, starting arguments over the smallest of things. He is also very selfish, arrogant and narcissistic, believing himself to be the best of the Gods, because he is this best fighter. While he is usually seen as brash and careless, he does take his job very seriously, and is incredibly efficient with his fighting and strategies. However, his fighting style is very sadistic, and he enjoys torture a little too much. Other- Usually seen riding a huge black Harley-Davidson. Very shallow about his relationship with women, as well, often seen with a new beautiful girlfriend every couple of weeks.

Name~ Astair Lane Age~ 5 Gender~ Girl Appearance~ Spoiler
She's pretty much the image of an angel. She has curly short blonde hair, long eye lashes and pink lips. A tiny button nose, and a dusting of freckles across her nose and dimpled cheeks. When she was summoned to Olympus, she was sent by her mother wearing this dress: Spoiler
And a big white bow. Spoiler
That's how blue her eyes are.
Personality~ The child is an angel. She loves everyone, and keeps the peace often. She loves being around people, and doesn't like the dark or sleep, or being alone. She often is seen sitting, looking into the distance with her really blue eyes, thinking. Though she is very young, she is brilliant. People tend to want to protect her because she's so young, but really, she doesn't need it. She's faster than anyone gives her credit for, and she can be really quiet because she's so little. People under estimate her, but don't. Those blue eyes can see the future, and are smarter than some adults.
She loves dogs. She carries a stuffed dog around with her, and if she was to lose it... She might show you what a five year old can do.
When she's tired, she does get very cranky, like any young child, but other wise she's very happy. She might get a little clingy though.
History~ Her mother fell in love with Apollo, and Apollo fell in love with her... You get the idea. When Astair was born, Apollo gave her the gift of sight and knowledge beyond her years. In her mind, she's actually a twelve year old. (Knowledge and understanding wise.) Apollo goes to earth to check on them every now and again, but he really isn't in love with Astair's mother anymore. Astair loves her Daddy to death, and Apollo does too. Even though the other humans are twelve and up, an allowance has been made because Astair is Apollo's daughter. She's likely to be seen on her Daddy's hip, or figuring out who really captured Zeus, since she's so little and can hide so easily.
Special Power~ She can see the future, and in addition to that has knowledge beyond her years.
Up for love? ~ Um. YES. No, sirusly, she isn't. She's five. And Apollo might kill you. She is Daddy's little girl.
Appearance: While most people don’t notice her because she tends to dress in understated colours, Hecate is very fond of long and graceful clothing, and has a thing for small pearls; whatever her appearance is, whether that of an old woman or a young child, she usually has pearl beads tying her hair.
Her favorite appearance is that of a young woman in her twenties, with black hair that reaches down to the middle of her back, and a strange shade of violet eyes that many have likened to that of a lotus flower. However, her favorite flower is the violet, and often the design of the flower embroiders her clothing discreetly.
Whoever sees her in whatever age, most agree that she is rather pretty. Perhaps not as gorgeous as Aphrodite; that is impossible, of course. But she is very pretty nonetheless, and retains a childish charm to her smile that everyone tends to love.

Personality: There are only a few myths about Hecate, but the most prominent of all would have to be that she taught the witches Circe and Medea everything they knew about magic. While both of them had turned out tragically, she never thought they would use magic to such horrid ends, and is often sad when they are brought up.
Hecate loves magic, and prefers to hoard everything she knows about it to herself; actually, she’s a very secretive person, which is why she is alternately called the “Arcane Witch” or the “Mysterious One”. She’s a very mysterious person to most, preferring to keep to herself rather than talk to a lot of people.
However, only the deities (and people) closest to her known that she is actually a very warm-hearted and childish person at heart, preferring to use her magic for fun than use it to any serious intentions. She is not kind or cruel, but she tends towards kind more than cruel, if only because it makes her happy to see a someone’s smile. She is, however, neutral in most arguments, believing that both sides in an issue should also try to look at it from the other side than only think about themselves.
She loves dogs, and despises anyone who hurts them.
Special Powers: Hecate is the goddess of witchcraft and magic, and is therefore the ‘witch goddess’ who knows how magic works, as well as being capable of using it to any ends. It is possible that she knows how the powers of the other deities work, and perhaps also has the ability to restrain them, but she never takes part in a war, and also thinks it’s not her place to order others’ powers about.
Up for love: But of course.
Other: As said before, she loves dogs, so she actually has a few dogs she always keeps about her in lieu of nymphs and the like. Also, when transforming into an animal, a dog is usually her favoured shape, unless she cannot.

Okay, I suck at this since this is my first REAL participation in a storybook. Bear with me.
Name- John Cellezzoni
Appearance- John has dark blonde, slightly curly, hair. He has clear hazel eyes that turn dark brown (for reasons that will be explained later). He is tall, slim yet muscular and has a 'C' shaped birthmark in the back of his neck, which he questions the origin of often. He has relatively long eye-lashes that flutter faster than usual when he gets nervous/excited. John has an absolutely ravishing smile that makes his hazel eyes twinkle like actual stars, however he is shy of it.
Spoiler
Age- 17
Personality- John is quite a shy guy, who keeps to himself most of the time, though he hasn't always been that way; John was once a very bubbly boy whose life seemed to be as ordinary as any other boy's. He loved his life - his parents had always been there for him, his needs were always taken care of, he lived the good life (wealth and happiness wise) until the day his parents died and he thought it was all his fault. He then shut out the world and built himself an emotion repellant, so he is emotionless and actually quite afraid of the world. Once he gets to know people better, and once these people know him better, people notice he is really quite random and witty, but certainly very intelligent. He is soft and calm and on no occasion fights - unless someone crosses the borderline.
Special power- John's power is to trace people down by following their 'line', that is, their trail. He does this by following their scent trail to the nearest millimetre precisely and he can also sense when people are approaching. He discovered this power on the same day his parents died. When he is tracking down a person (or even a group of people) his left iris turns dark brown.
History- When he was fourteen, a gang of thieves had broken into his house and John had 'felt' them coming but he thought he was just delirious. The thieves shot his parents and he forever blames himself for their deaths. Prior to this event, John had to move into his maternal aunt's house but he didn't stay there for long - he ran away, wanting to be left alone. He lives alone, hidden from most people, in his parents' summer house which is smaller than their actual house but more than enough for the seventeen year old.
Up for love? He doesn't know. He's very reserved so he's not sure if he wants to reveal his sentiments to anyone. He avoids all strong emotions because the scent trails also become strong and he ends up caring, which is what he is trying to avoid.
Other- He is of Italian descent and knows nothing on Greek mythology, but is okay at Roman mythology, which is slightly different xD.

when she needs to shelter from reality she takes a dip in my daydreams
Can I be Demeter? Or Hera if no one's taken that one? Name: Demeter
Gender: Female http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9 ... K6VO5-oBhO Appearance: Demeter has long dark brown hair. She has almond shaped eyes which are usually hazel in color. She generally dresses in natural colors; nothing too colorful or vibrant. She is never found without her gold necklace which has a small but beautiful pendant of entwining leaves.
Age: Around 20 or so.
Personality: When you first meet her, she looks calm and composed. But don't let that fool you. She thinks a lot and at times goes into depressed silences. She is also a bit touchy and has a quick temper; often people don't realize what they've done to anger her. But if you find her in a good mood, she is sweet and may even do anything for you. She doesn't look very powerful. She chooses to be that way though, she likes the element of surprise.
Other: She doesn't know what to think of Hades and Persephone.
