In the concealment of the trees, Aeophrenilous Nicolai Carpathia Stradivabach, or Aeo for short, studied the actions of his human companions through the glass that they were seperated by. They always seemed to be having fun. Laughing, playing, fighting, or just talking. They were forever smiling. So careless. So diligent with their sinful actions. Could he really be like them? Would he be able to fit in?
"Their lives are pitiful and merciful. They think in such shallow measures. Why should I even bother?" He pondered these words, echoing throughout his effervescent thought processes. "But it is my destiny. It is a part of my purpose." Again, muttered through endless brainwaves.
Aeo, deciding to get a closer look at their activities, cascaded groundward and leaned against the lichen-covered bark and peered through the same window.
"What's your name?" A small girl inquired, approaching him with an otherworldly stare.
"Aeo," the white haired, purple eyed kid answered.
"I think I've seen you before," she said. "You look just like someone I saw in a dream, an angel, in fact!"
"Is that so?" He thought out loud.
"Well, I gotta run, catch you later Aeo."
"Farewell dear Yumi," he responded, recalling the night she had prayed for guidance and he had answered her. Shocked, Yumi ran into the enclosement to find her friend. Aeo then shifted his position and observed that some of the commotion had died down. It was time to investigate further.
