Anger boils to the surface,
my hands clench tight.
Faces loom in front of me,
and make me want to fight.
Infuriated and dissapointed,
I push it all back in.
But it just makes me feel worse,
Like an unforgiven sin.
I made a promise to myself,
that I'd never have to hurt.
Now I realize that,
I only feel like dirt.
For a moment I believed,
that I might have a chance.
That's how it always seems though,
if it's judged at first glance.
Forgive my awful cliche,
but my heart has split in two.
And here comes another one,
It's all because of you.
Forget being suicidal,
I do not want to die.
Oh, but my lovely God,
please just let me cry.
