*Nah, hehe, Dimitri's an epic character as well, a great balance of morals, a strong personality xD, Mal's taken quite a liking to him :P*

Mal

“Until, then, I would appreciate it if you left us to our work...” Dr. Abrams, nodding towards the door with the same expression he had had before.

Mal looked at the door, then back at the two figures. Then back at the door and finally smiled at Dr. Abrams.

"Oooh! You're telling me to leave!" he exclaimed surprised, "Why... that's quite rude of you Dr. Abrams. I may not be your colleague at the moment but I expected you to treat me as such."

Mal waited for a reply, "like I said before... If you please," Dr. Abrams said again, still gesturing to the door.

Mal looked at Dr. Abrams and then at Dr. Grey. He did this a few times, slowly. His eyes lit up suddenly and he grinned. "My my Doctors! I never expected this! Such... Rawr!" Mal mock-clawed at them with his right hand while still grinning, "You should have warned me Doctors! Well, continue with your.... work"

He winked at them before walking backwards with his wide grin. Once outside the room he closed the door and sighed. It had been a interesting conversation and he had been thrown out, typical. It was to be expected of Dimitri. Even the annoyance that was Monty-thingy spoke of him with a certain degree of respect. His stay here would be quite exciting.

Mal sighed. He wasn't sure what to do at the moment. Usually it was now when something random and unusual happened or forced into happening by him. This time however he had wanted to try a different approach. Something a little bit more subtle and quite a bit more interesting.

Mal began humming Amazing Grace as he walked away from the room. Whatever was going on inside the office would have been interesting, however he would now not know what it was. Saddening, oh so very sad.

Mal Shrugged and continued humming Amazing Grace, deviating into a more custom made melody that made the soft serene song sound like a badly written rock song that sounded blood-curdling and ecstatic.

*I was thinking perhaps now he meets with Mandy? Or someone else... anyone's welcome to befriend him :P*

Firestalker -

"You should have warned me Doctors! Well, continue with your.... work"

Oh you've got to be kidding me! Isn't that just typical of you... :D

Guys - Are we still going along with the psychological all-cure part? Because... ahh, just tell me if what I wrote is contradictory to anything.

Oh, and another thing, is it okay if I rouse some suspicion between Dr. Abrams and Dr. Grey?
Dr. Grey

Lily glared at the closed-door, wishing she could punch the teeth out of that guy. Mal or whatever. Breathing hard, trying to cool down her anger, she looked back at Dr. Abrams, who was also staring at the now closed-door, his expression worried.

"That... could be a problem." He finally said, pointing at the door.

"What? You mean that Mr. Psychological perspective?" She scoffed. "He seems more like a person who forgets what a window and a door is."

He looked confused for a second then shook his head. "No, the point is that he looks like he can create a whole lot of more problems that we don't want right now, and our hands are quite full at the moment." He clasped his hands in front of him. "I wonder if Mr. Montgomery even knows about his involvement."

Lily stayed quiet, knowing that Dr. Abrams was not actually talking to her, but just voicing out the possibilities.

"What did he say, about getting acquinted with the subjects?" He suddenly asked, staring at her.

"I am not sure. But I have a feeling that he's just playing with us, trying to make us do something stupid." She replied, although she felt that what Mal was doing went a lot more deeper than that.

He became quiet once again and then shook his head for the second time.

"Right, I have no time to worry about that. Tell me, what did Dr. Crawford tell you about Subject 16?" He asked suddenly.

Lily opened her mouth to answer, but then stopped, her hearting beat starting to rise again. How did Dr. Abrams know that she talked to Dr. Crawford about Nimsi?

She then answered, choosing her words carefully. "She informed me that the all-cure had reacted badly with the snake venom we injected. It had paralysed her in fact."

Dr. Abrams put his face in his hands. "How long has it been before it had happened?"

"I don't know. Dr. Crawford informed me the minute she found out. She had administered the all-cure around the time I... was stabbed."

"And what did you tell Dr. Crawford to do?"

"I... didn't ask her to do anything." She answered, trying to stop her voice shaking.

Dr. Abrams glanced at her sharply. She saw him contemplating her, making her feel like she was sitting infront of the school principal.

"Is that so?" He finally said. He then stood up and walked around to her.

I'll leave the next part to *coco :D

Nimsi

She saw the needle pierce her skin, but did not feel even the slightest pain. She could feel tears flowing down her cheeks, and the feeling of utter hopelessness, spreading through her. She turned her head and stare through blurred eyes at the doctor.

Her face was pretty, but it also had quiet tears running down it.

"What is that? Will that cure me?" Nimsi asked, her voice sounding so small.

Dr. Crawford trembled as if she was fighting the urge to cry. She took out her hankerchief and wiped her tears. Then she turned to the guards.

"Please leave. I need to have my full concentration, and I can't have that while you two are breathing behind me like two American bulldogs." She said.

The guards looked at each and left, one of them scratching his head, looking confused.

Just as the door closed, Dr. Crawford broke down, tears flowing down her face as she sobbed uncontrollably.

Nimsi watched as the doctor breathed hard, trying to stop crying. She sat on the edge of Nim's bed and stroked her head.

"I'm sorry for all this sweetie. I... I'm... I don't know what to do." She sobbed, and buried her face in her hands.

Nimsi knew enough about other people to know that this woman actually cared for her, and was not faking anything. Nim wished she could move her arm so she hold the doctor's hand.

Then, the door opened once again.

*Could be anyone.* :D

~C.K.~

Mal. That was a nice name. He was nice. None of the other kids seemed happy about his sudden appearance, but C.K. liked him. Mal liked him too. He had said so. And Christopher had said he hated him. C.K. didn't need Christopher anymore. Mal would protect him now. Mal would be his friend. Forever. Not like Christopher.

But Mal didn't say he would come back.

The key! Mal had left it for him. It was a test. He wanted C.K. to take the initiative. C.K. would get the key from Micah and sneak out. If he could find Mal, they would be friends. Mal would love him.

And Christopher would be jealous. And then Christopher would love him again. And this time he would stay forever.

Umm, so I'm gonna take charge if no-one minds. Slightly daunting :S

Link

"I think that everyone out there would be furious and they would close the place down. It would stop the experimentation! All we have to do is find someone who will reveal it to the world." Micah's voice is inflamed with passion. He really believes himself. The rest of us are quiet for a second while we digest this.
"Why not us?" Isabella's voice is soft.
"How?" Sebastian asks. "It's not as if we can escape in the first place, let alone tell people on this so called 'outside'."
I close my eyes and knead my forehead with my knuckles to try and ease the throbbing there. I have the beginnings of an idea, but it's really difficult to form it properly with my head being so painful. I look up to see Micah pacing back and forward, staring at the key in his hand.
"Okay", he says, "Lets take stock of what we have. First off, the key to the cell door." He lays it on the floor in the centre of the small room. Isabella points at his sunglasses.
"Second, my sunglasses."
"Third, there's my pen." I point out. There is a sudden sheepish atmosphere in the room, and no-one meets my eye.
"What? You do still have my pen, right Isabella?" I throw a questioning look at her and she looks up at Micah, who in turn looks over at C.K

Hehe, have fun explaining this guys.
I hae but ane gallant son, and if he were to follow me in my footsteps, how proud I shall be.

I glared at the floor, unable to look back up at Link. Behind me someone coughed slightly.

"Link, look while you were away a lot has gone on. C.K attaked Micah and grabbed the pen there was nothing we could do. He used it and stabbed Dr Grey," I murmered softly, my voice little more than a whisper.

"What?" asked Link, I glanced up to see him shaking his head.

"I'm sorry Link but there was nothing I could do, I . . . I tried," my voice was trembling and a tear began to trickle down my cheek.

"She's right," Micah added. "C.K was like a totally different person. He attacked me while I was talking to Isabella, and then he saw the pen." We all stayed silent, waiting for Link to reply, but it was a few moments before he did.

"Isabella," he sighed. "I trusted you with that pen and you were meant to take care of it." I nodded, biting my lip to stop myself from whimpering.

They were talking about him. As if he couldn't hear them. And they didn't sound grateful. Christopher promised they would be grateful. But C.K. didn't trust Christopher anymore, so it didn't matter. Not until Christopher loved him again. Christopher stood and marched towards the group. He sat down next to Sebastian with the key on the floor in front of him.

"You - you should be thankful. I hurt one of them. Doesn't that make you happy? Isn't that what you wanted?" C.K. stammered.

Micah turned around, as if surprised by C.K.'s presence. "Yeah, and what good did that do? The doctor's fine. If she wasn't, you'd be dead by now. You should be dead. You almost got us all killed, and you nearly ruined any chance we had of escape," he growled.

"Okay," C.K. stated.

"Okay? That's it?" Isabella chimed in.

C.K. returned to his corner and refused to look at them. Fine. If they hated him too, all he had left was Mal. The one person who like him. No, loved him. It was time to find Mal.

C.K. smiled and unclenched his fist. He fingered the key for a few moments, then quickly tucked it in his pocket.

Hope this is okay guys! Apologies again for the delay

Dr. Abrams

“I have a problem, Dr. Grey,” Dmitri said, his hands in his pant pockets as he slowly walked up and down his office. “No one, not even Mr. Montgomery knows about my supply of anti-venom. The vials are my own personal hand-made stash that I’ve kept hidden all these years. If Mr. Montgomery were to find out about it my time here at Medysin pharmaceuticals will be over. The fact that now one of those vials is now in the possession of Dr. Crawford leaves me somewhat troubled...”

That was putting it lightly, He stopped his strolling and faced her, a look of absolute seriousness etched across his face. She needed to answer this next question of his very carefully.

“I need you to be completely honest with me, Dr. Grey. Do you know how it got there?”

There was a very long moment of silence, before Dr. Crawford finally spoke up.

“No.”

Dmitri looked her in the eyes hard, noticing that she wasn’t able to do the same.

“Very well,” he settled, returning to his seat. “I’ll just have to take a look at the tapes.”

Dr. Grey looked up suddenly, alarm in her eyes. “Tapes?” she questioned.

“From the CCTV,” Dmitri explained. “Shortly after I joined Medysin, Mr. Montgomery insisted that I have camera’s set up all around my office. Now then,” he took a quick glance at his watch, easily changing the subject, “the time is now 2:15, let’s begin with drug 209.”

He could feel Dr. Grey’s nervous eyes on him, and pretended to ignore it. Pulling out C.K’s medical file, Dmitri opened it up on his table. “First on the agenda: schizophrenia...”

Micah,

C.K. is going off the deep end, and everyone can tell. I know he was trying to do the right thing by stabbing that doctor, but it's very hard to control my anger right now. I take a deep breath and we all start discussing again.

"So, back to supplies," Isabella says, "We have the key, the sunglasses, and..."

"And some dirty blankets," Sebastian says sarcastically.

"You're right actually," says Link, "We could use those for something."

"Like what?" I ask, frowning.

"Well, we could, you know, use them to tie things, or something," Link looks a bit sheepish.

"Fair enough," I say, "So we have the key, the sunglasses, and the blankets...and...and," I just remembered something very important.

"And what?" Isabella asks.

"I know where the guards keep their guns!" I say, grinning, "We can grab some when we get out!"

"That's great, and everything," Link says, "But we're rescuing Nimsi first, okay?"

"Absolutely," I say, then realize that the key is gone.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

I frowned at Micah.

"Are you sure?" I asked. "Its not like it could just get up and walk away, maybe it fell on the floor." I glanced around the room, before realising that the room was so bare that had it fallen on the floor it would have been spotted straight away. Micah just looked at me and raised one eyebrow.

"Happy? It's not there," he replied.

"Yeah but she is right," Link said. "It can't have just disappeared and if it hasn't been dropped that can only mean that someone in here has it." I glanced around, looking at everyone before my eyes came to rest on C.K, who was still searching the floor.

"Yes, and we already know that some people can be . . ." I paused, searching for the correct way to word it. "Well lets just say unpredictable."

Micah and Link followed my gaze and at once understood what I was trying to tell them.
'Are you saying Ni to that old woman?'
'Yes'
