Hello- im new and confused and um hi!

someone referenced this site but did not really explain how it works.
I am a softmore (i think- im australian) and i only just started properly writting recently. I am currently working on my first story, and by that i mean i have written two pages...

Yay! Two pages is much better than no pages at all. Welcome to YWS!

The way YWS works is that you post literary pieces on the literary forums (you can get there either through "Discover Works" or "Submit") and you can post whatever you like, just as long as you have the points. When you post these pieces, people will review them and give you feedback on how you can improve... a good thing! In the meantime, you can help review their own stories and give them feedback. So, it's this giant pyramid scheme of helpfulness.

Hi, welcome!

Don't worry, you'll soon get the idea of the site but basically, you write and you review and you meet awesome people who have similar interests to you. Is there anything you're specifically confused about? Because if so, just send me a pm with some questions and I'll write back with answers!

Also, we have this system called a 'Buddy System' where the new member can choose an older member to show them around the site and answer any questions they have. The older member also reviews some of their work and can introduce them to other members, old and new! So it's a win win situation since all you have to do is be new And I just realised you found the club already because you're so clever :p
