Hey
I'm new to YWS
I write poems and this is the 1st attempt I've made to show anyone my poetry.
It's taken me quite a while to pluck up the courage.
Poetry is something very personal. It bears all your thoughts, feelings and views.
Up and till now I've never felt the need to show anyone my work, but the feedback i've read on this site is quite insiteful therefore I had to give mine a chance.
Well my names Nicole. I'm 14. I like to write but have a problem w/ sent. frag and really bad with grammar and spelling ... which is really bad since i really want to write later on in life as a profession. I have edited lots of work and am the well known English and book freak at school. I love to read.
Greeting Nicole and Hana. I'm sure you'll both fit in fine here but if you need some help navigating the sight or want a critique on some of your work, feel free to pm me.

sometimes you are the windshield...and sometimes you are the bug. that's just the way the cookie crumbles, so go take a long walk off a short plank.

The good parts of a book may be only something a writer is lucky enough to overhear or it may be the wreck of his whole damn life — and one is as good as the other.

Welcome to the site Lucy. There was terrible weather in Selby (Yorkshire) last night. The storm cut off my power and I couldn't go on the computer =( Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy the site and feel free topm me if you're feeling lost or want a critique,

Medieval Lit! Come here to find out who Chaucer plagiarized and translated - and why and how it worked in the late 1300s.
I'm new around here...well, i actually joined a while ago but only decided to pluck up the courage and introduce myself now!
I enjoy writing poetry as well as fiction...but as you can see it took me so long to introduce myself that you'll probably have to wait another century before i actually post my work on here! For now Ill just enjoy reading people's posts...
