I'm gold_tangerine. I'm an artist as well as a writer, I draw manga and yes it's geeky but some of my comics are hilarious they cheer me up. I belong to an art forum (Polykarbonbbs, terrific place) but the writers forum there is crap and they don't allow nice big signatures.

Anyway I've been writing a sci-fi novel for like 5 years now and I'm revising parts of it for the millionth time. I want to get it over with, join the gym and get a boyfriend and then start sending query letters, but until then I'll try not to be offensive around here because PK (i've noticed) helped improve issues I had with my art, and this forum probably will for my writing.
If it doesn't I'll have a place to mouth off without the Secret Service knowing who it is.

Greetings! I'm Lee, or Leevee, I go by both. I'm seventeen years old, live in Colorado, and go to an alternative high school that ought to be the topic of a reality show.

I read pretty much anything that has a sense of humor in it, although it tends towards sci-fi/fantasy these days. I write sci-fi and mystery stories mostly.

Besides writing and reading, I'm into forensic science, watching television (crime dramas, all the time, plus cartoons), rugby, archaeology, learning languages (right now, Welsh and Spanish), and... lots of other stuff. Such as trivia. I'm full of trivia.

Anyway, nice to meet all of you!

Hello... I'm Lily. I just joined, after finding this site yesterday (through NaNoWriMo). It seems very nice here...

I've been writing--or trying to write--fantasy lately. I started my current story for NaNo, and am still working on it. In the past I've also written a few fanfics. I really haven't been doing much writing for fun lately (uni/research papers are rather distracting ), but that's hopefully going to change. I also love to read of course, as well as play music.

My name is Kristen. Right now I'm a freshman in college. I'm a Political Science major/Journalism minor. I intend to go into political writing when I graduate, but when I'm not writing articles, I love to write original works- mostly fantasy, but occasionally I'll write about other topics.

Anyway, it's nice to meet everyone. Hopefully I'll talk to some of you a bit more and read your work! I probably won't be posting any of my own work until I read some of the work already posted here, but I'll definitely be around frequently.

For the most part I live in my loft. I love mythology, and I use it to make my own mythologies. I live in a cabin in the mountains, and this is where most of my stories take place.
