Dreams Tell Lies

HELLO! Okay soooo... I'm kind of nervous to be uploading this because there are so many people already in this contest so I feel 1.) bad for adding ANOTHER entry that has to be judged, and 2.) jittery because some of the entries are really really good XP

Okay, so I kiiiind of think I shouldn't say this, but I only read the prologue... sorry XP I was GOING to read all of the story and then pick which scene or important moment I wanted to be interpreted in the cover, BUT after reading the prologue I was like "OMFG THAT'S PERFECT!!" and well.... that was two hours ago and here I am! ;P (but I will read the rest right after I upload this 'cause I really liked it XD)

Now, before I rant any longer, here's my cover! :3 I hope you like it. It only took two hours (one, actually, because the other hour was wasted when my computer froze and I had to shut it down and start all over. But they look the same, so it's not a big deal) so I hope it doesn't look rushed or anything....



I think I'll make another one if I find something more important than this moment, or just become bored and need something to do ;P

I'm glad you chose the prologue to interpret! As far as I know that actually hasn't been done yet. I really like what you've done here, it shows a lot of what the story is about. I can't give a lot of constructive cirticsm but i've given each entrant one point, so you're no different. On the whole this cover is a little dark, and whilst there is evil magic at work in the novel it would be nice if some of the good was represented through colour as well

Heya Micki xP I'm no good at judging covers, but i think this is really great I really love the fonts, they stand out quite well. Also, I was drawn into the blue colors. They seem to give off a great light that is almost mystifying. It almost looks like the orb is a bit blurry, and for a moment the pic looks off-center because the circle is not quite in the middle of the pic, but then I see that is just because of the hand. All in all I think this is really creative and looks great overall. If I saw this at a store, I would pick it up and flip it over to the back to read the description.

So yeah, a shotty review, but there really was nothing to critique. I wish I could edit covers so that I could do contests too lol xD
