Bad Angel

So like I said in the description, this whole theme was a total accident xP I was doing another practice with wings, and as I was drawing, I kept thinking there was something wrong with his face. His eyes looked like crap. So I spent ages trying to fix them. Finally, I gave up and scratched them out with black pen (yes I'm violent like that) there!! you happy now?? They turned into sunglasses, which I decided looked pretty BA xP. So after that, I basically stopped taking this drawing seriously, and stuck a cigarette between his lips.





I actually spent a lot of time adding detail, and I wish I could zoom up on the pic because you can't see it very well when it's posted like this... oh well x) I had a lot of fun drawing this one, despite all the frusteration in the beginning lol!

Oh, and I did the original drawing in shades of black and white, then went over it later and added color hues in red.

So this is actually a pretty cool concept - it reminds me of what I used to think a Hell's Angel was, back when I was naive and innocent (well more innocent than I am now at any rate).
If I had to be critical, I would say that his stomach seems a little too high up, or it might be the way his trousers fit. I really like this drawing though - keep it up!

Bahaha, this is so cool. I really like the wings in this one. Verry realistic now =] I'm glad that this turned out nice. You're shading is superb and the usage of the different textures between the wings, his clothes, his face and the shades is really great. A job well done =]

See? It's true! When you're angry, you draw better. It looks like a cool dude enjoying the weather while smoking. Then again, the way you've drawn his eyebrows, it's like he's stressed out about something. The shades give him the I'm-a-mysterious-guy look plus a stay-away-from-me-I'm-dangerous look. (I hope you understood what that means)
Coming to the clothes. I like the style. You've seriously improved at drawing the clothes. I can't find any mistakes here either.
The wings are the best! They look like bat wings except ten times larger in size. No, they're way cooler than bat wings. They look bad and dangerous with all those holes in them. Your shading in the second picture made it come to life!

Haha theres seriously close to nothing to review, here, Missy! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET 50 POINTS, NOW?!?! Prepare for incessant babbling... O_e

Anyway, I love the wings. They are very... well... not angel-like, but more demon-y haha I like it. And I also like how you have perspective on them, too. Like how one is in the air and one is down.

Probably the only two things I am capable of commenting on are the feet, and the legs/torso. Now, with the feet, it seems to be a common thing with the majority of your works, but they appear almost squished. Like he's forcing his feet into shoes three sizes too small? Ouch. Something that I've learned, is that your foot size, is actually the same size as the space between your elbow, and your wrist, believe it or not. If that helps any, you could try comparing the size of the feet, with the size of half of the arm, it might help to look at it that way.

And then, the thing with the torso is that it's too small for the legs. Either that or he's tucking in his shirt.... is he tucking in his shirt? Because it looks like he's tucking in his shirt.... it also looks like he's got his pants hiked up around his waist. Kind of like..... hmm.... picture a 60 year old who's trying to look like a biker, but failing because he pulled his leather pants up super high and tucked his shirt in after that.... ZOH MY GOD, THE ERKLE OF THE BIKER GANG!!!! XD

Anyway, to fix that, I would suggest making his pants look baggier? Or making the... hmm... *cough* crotch *cough* area lower down (you know how that part of boys jeans is lower than girls jeans? Yeah, like that)

Really cool. The wings are a bit low, I've always seen wings right around the shoulder blades. This looks like the lower back. Minor thing. They looks good, nice touch with the glasses and the cig, cool style and shape to them.

Neck is a teensy bit long and the straight leg looks like it's bent inward, odd.
Didn't have a prob with leg length, reminds me of spike in bebop, same lanky form. Not exaggerated thoug. The hair and jacket are excellent. Great detail in the folds and shading.

You are really good at drawing. But theres one thing that you always need to know.
When you are drawing there is always something that you can make better.
Its like a piece of writing. you could always make one more line. Always add a new word or like this drawings, you can always add something and/or delete something!

You never want to publish something that is not finished!
This one tho it could use some other things its really good, and you should be proud of yourself!
