Hello! Been on this site a few times, but only just decided to sign up. I've always been interested in writing and novels since I was very young; my interest and motivation for both seemed to peter of towards the end of my senior school life, but now i'm entering my final year of sixth form I feel like getting back into it. Really I have no plan on what i'll be doing, just thought i'd sign up, start thinking of ideas and play around with a few of them.
You don't need plans here- things tend to settle on their own. Welcome- if you need anything- whatsoever, give me a PM- I'll do my best to help. Also- allow me to recommend the 'Buddy system' Where a warm, loving(or at least giving a s***), experienced mentor will take you under his/her/its wing- and will guide you. YWS is a good place to come for experimenting and finding your own style. We've got a lot of people on here and not one of them writes the same way! So if you have a look around the board, you'll find lots of inspiration and if you want to post anything you write, we'll tell you what we think
Is there anything you'd like to know about the site? It can be a bit confusing at first, especially as it gets bigger! But if you're unsure where something goes or want to know if we have a certain section, just drop me a pm and I'll answer your questions as best I can.
I also write a lot of reviews so keep that in mind for when you've written something. Just come back here and look me up and ask me to take a look at your work
