Hello all! Introducing myself, I go by Benway here in the cyberverse, and have been a writer and thinker about as long as I've been able to write and think (a while now). I've stumbled my way to this corner of reality by way of my fiance, Suzanne, a DM and long-time offender about the crinkled pages of this site. Having been mostly out of the writing game since I graduated, I'm thinking of getting back into producing, editing, and communing. So here I am, and here it goes.

Hi Benway! Nice to meet you. :) And yes, you should definitely start producing, editing, and communing! What sorts of things do you like to write?

Welcome Benway!

This is a good place to get back into writing. Everyone is really supportive when it comes to new or returning writers. I think even I need to scrub off some rust. Maybe when you post something, I can review it for you?

I am curious though, how did you and Suzanne meet? It must be quite an interesting story.

Hello!

Your name reminds me of Star Trek Voyager... XD

What kind of things do you like to read? Do you and Suzanne shred each others stuff constructively critique each others writing?

Hey Benway!!!! I'm Mvb627, but I'm also known as Kirby (I love kirby). Anyway, I suggest checking the chat because That's where all my peeps hang. I like to write action/adventure if you cared. This is a super chill site, and if you have any question, you can Pm me or anyone else. I'm sure there's an answer somewhere.
Kirby is my friend!

Hi! So, Anna's one of my favorites, and since I assume you're one of her favorites, we should get along famously! Or something, anyway ^^

Welcome to YWS! I hope you enjoy it, and if you have any questions, bother Anna! ;) Also, I've missed her, so make sure you let her out of her cage so she can come play! Ok, so I jest just a little bit. In all seriousness, though - I have missed her. And she tells me you're a poet! I look forward to this, I have to say!

Ah! Welcome to YWS!

I have missed Suz, so it's awesome that she's back. Even better that she brings a friend! Hopefully, you'll find as much joy as she did with the site! Any questions, you know how to ask. I've a feeling you'll be good to go with Suz on your back though. ;)

Thanks to everyone for the warm greetings and positive feedback. To answer writerly questions first, I write a little bit of everything, but have done the most work in poetry. I've had several publications scattered out there in national and academic anthologies, and have been editor of a college arts magazine for about four years now. So, poetry--and the occasional prose, coming in the way of short stories, or more commonly, character descriptions/backstories.

How did the Suzanne and I meet? Typewriters.

Keep it comin!

Love,
Me

Hey Benway!

Glad you joined YWS!
Typewriters? Were you like fighting over one? ;)

Anyway, see you around!
