Okay so I scanned my drawing and increased its sharpness. I didn't make any changes in the second one though...




One last thing I forgot to mention. The eyes, nose and mouth belong to three different people so it might look a little odd...

Hello there.

The only thing that bothers me in your drawing is the right eye. It's somehow in an angle, when the rest is not, and it throws me off a little bit. Normally, when you have an angle in your face, the eyes, the nose and the mouth should be at the exact same angle. This is not the case with your drawing. So I would suggest you either starighten out this eye, or you angle the other eye, the nose and the mouth.

Otherwise, it's really beautiful and I think you did an excellent job at proportioning and shading.The eyes seem real, and I liek that also. For me, they are always the first thing I work on because somehow, I think they should always be the important part on a drawing. Also, they are the ones that hold all the emotion and the intensaty in a person, so I make sure they are the best. You have done a really good job at all of that.

Wow, this is an amazing drawing. I liked how you focused more on the features of the face rather than the actual face. Also, I am absolutely in love with the eyes. They seem to bee alive and sparkling. Beautifully done, I wish I could draw like that . Anyway, keep up the good work!

Wow...these are great! I thought the first one looked a bit odd, but that's only because it was scanned in. I though the whole face wasn't centered, but that's not your fault. The second one is great. I can really see the detail in the drawing. It almost looks like I can reach out and touch the face. I think it's cool that you combined three different people's faces to make this one. It's very creative.

I thought you did really well here and I definitely prefer the second one; it allows us to see exactly what you did draw rather than leaving out the slightly lighter shaded parts. Maybe in the future, you could consider photgraphing your drawings and uploading them that way. I often find that a good camera will capture the detail much more effectively than a scanner, without you having to increase the sharpness of your drawing.

I'm always amazed when I see more realistic drawings like this. Whenever I try to draw this way, things end up turning manga/anime on me x/

Really, I think the second picture is the best. When you edited the first one, you lost all the shading and detail of the original. You can't see things like the line of the nose, or the subtle shading of the eyes. Your shading was probably my most favorite thing that you did ^_^ Can I ask you what tools you used? Paper, pencils, blending gadgets? I never understood how to get things to look as smooth as this!

Technically, I think the eyebrows might be too small. And the right eye looks a little too slanted, where the left one looks normal and relaxed. Do you see how the corner of the upper lid turns up a little bit? Where the one on the left actually curves down. Not everyone has perfectly asymmetrical eyes, I don't think, but that detail caught my attention.
