I love It!! It's so cute :D! I also love the childhood aspect of it with the toy wearing the sunglasses. Summer is mostly known as the time children are free from school so they are free to live their lives out of school, so summer is very well associated with childhood. I love the background colour too! It's bright and happy! Great job with the photo! Keep it up!

Aww this is so cute! I love it <3
I thought it was cute how you put the sunglasses on him, and especially since they were pink because they really popped. I thought the colour choices in this also worked really well together (not sure if it was planned or kind of just worked out that way). Either way.. it looks great (;
When I saw this title as being "summer" this isn't the picture that I was expecting, but it still works. It has that fun, care-free, summer feel to it. I also loved your background colour. It works really well with the picture, but I also just like it in general. Ahahaah. This is actually the kind of picture I can see someone using as a display picture or something. I don't know, it just has that cute/fun look to it (:
Anyways, well done! Love the picture (:
I'd like to think I'm creative... instead of just plain weird ;D

Haha! I'm actually in love with this! I think you've chosen a nice subject and whilst I was prepared to see lots of flowers or the sunshine I was also a bit worried I was stepping into a cliché. You've clearly avoided this though and displayed a great sense of humour. I'm going to agree with previous reviews in that you've picked a lovely background too. I'm sorry I don't really have a lot of constructive critiscm for you at this point!
Keep on snapping those photos :)

This photo just makes me smile! And those huge red glasses (considered huge for the stuffed doll) is adding more humour to it. I have expected to see a beach-like background instead of being plain coloured since the subject is about summer. You know the sea, the sand, blue sky :D

Hey MrsMagic41!

I liked this photo a lot. Do you use an editor? Photoshop, Lightroom, Picnik... ect? I feel like you cut off the picture too soon, but I do kind of like it that way. Good job!

PM me or post on my wall if you have any questions! ( Or if you have answer to my question. )3

Hello MrsMagic41,

I clicked on this with the worry that it would be a typical sunny day at the beach type photo. Well... I was wrong, you have managed to take a summer photo with a definite twist. It looks really quite amazing and it is definitely one of the photos that makes you sigh and go, "darn, I just wish that I'd taken that photo." I'm not just saying that, it really was that good! At first when I clicked the 'reply' button, I was thinking, "how on earth am I supposed to find flaws in such a good photo. Anyway, I did manage to find a few minor things to help you improve this.

Firstly, I think you needed to have made this bigger before you posted it. This was a bit too small and it would be easier to see if it wasn't so tiny. I think you could have probably doubled how big this is and it wouldn't have taken up too much space, that's how small this photo was.try enlarging this photo on a photo editing site such as Picnik; http://www.picnik.com/app#/home/welcome or Photo bucket; http://photobucket.com/ or any other photo editing sites that you may enjoy using, just try experimenting with all different photo editing programs and I'm sure you will come across one that you like! There are also some great tutorials on here about re sizing.

I also think this could have been lighter, for a summer photo this seemed pretty dark and not very light and bright, just a little something to think about. You could try messing around on one of the editing sites above and try making it just an extra bit brighter and so that it pops out when you look at it.

I love the background colour too!
I totally agree, the light and carefree teal that you have chosen as a background was a very good choice and it really makes the toy stand out and it is generally a very fun color that people would automatically associate with summer and sandal's and shades. I think that was one of the best things about this photo, the color choice.

Overall this was a very good photo that I really liked and this is possibly one of the best photos I have seen in a while on this website, it was honestly that great! Thank you, it has been a pleasure reviewing this photo, I cannot wait to see what you come up with in the future. I'll be keeping an eye out and if you ever want another review then please don't fail to PM me and I will be here straight away! This was very high quality and I wish I had taken this so badly :). Keep posting please!

What I love about this is the vibrant colors and the simplicity of it. It almost reminds me of a quick Polaroid or a lomo photo. The contrast is great and the brightness is also what adds that vintage-y feel I love. Nice shot.

The first impression I got was....Mischief.
Why? Well, two things:
The way one eye was peeking out of the sunglass corner, and the big smile.
Told a lot of things, for instance, he has just done some mischief and wants somebody to find it out, so that all can enjoy.

Good job!

I don't exactly agree with the background color though. I would put some green more that captures the essence of summer leaves.

And it would form a better contrast placing the main character in front. While taking the picture, keep in mind the shadow also, where you want it, or if you want it at all.
