I've been taught a fair bit of photography before, but I rarely put it to use, so while on my way home from school today (I was bored enough to walk all the way home ) I whipped out my crappy-yet-not-so-crappy phone camera and snapped away So here's some of the pictures! Just thought it'd be nice to hear your opinion.
Ahh, they're kinda large, so I didn't post them directly >< You're gonna have to click on those little thumbnails to enlarge them.

I love taking pictures of Plants and animals, and I think thses pictures are a great start. Also what makes a great picture is to have a great focal point. Such as in the second picture. If you wanted the picture to be more focused on the plant, then you could of gotten more close to it and have that pole be out of focus. While the first picture of that tree, I love. I always take pictures like that, with the picture having the sunlight peek through the picture in the corner. I'm not so sure what you're camera type is, though I would upgrade to a better camera, and more expensive, when you find that you're pictures need more "magic" to it. I started out with a big fancy camera, since my dad already had one handy.
I think you're off at a good start, so keep taking pictures everyday and I'm sure that you will improve. :D
Okay, I don't think I have ever reviewed photography (even though I love taking pictures), but I will give it a shot.
Photo One This tree picture is awesome! [I'm serious] I love how you didn't place the trunk of the tree directly in the center of the picture. I know you may think of this as a simple fact, but it amazes me how many people try to center their subject matter into the center of their frame. I also love how bright the sun is, and the way it filters through the leaves. Nicely done!
Photo Two First of all, I am going to applaud you on not centering the grass. (I really don't have anything negative about this picture either...but I want to tell you about my first impressions of it, and it may sound strange) At first glance this picture reminds me of an oasis. Seeing the bright green of the grass up against the sage color that surrounds it is a really cool angle. Then I looked at the picture more closely and noticed the building in the background. So now I can't look at this picture without it reminding me of a scene in a sci-fi movie. [I know that sounds a bit weird] It just makes me want to know what is going on in this picture, and why there is only a little bit of green grass.

Alright, that is enough of my strange interpretations. Maybe I should stay away from reviewing photography...lol. Your pictures are great, but next time maybe you should bring your REAL camera along ;]

Hi ... When I see your photos, I remeber my friend who used to capture photos of trees, flowers, sky, etc. It is a pretty cool stuff from you. Especially in your first photo, I like the angle you have taken. Nice way to start your photography. Keep doing some interesting stuffs like this. Carry your camera always. All the best.
Thank you all for the positive responses! It's appreciated. @Ultimateanon: I had a few shots of the second picture from varying distances, the ones closer up, which would have been better, unfortunately, was blurred T_T I'll probably pass that place again soon and have a another go at taking those pictures @Jessa: I'm glad you liked the pics =o Well, it's really urban here, and it's really rare that I'd be able to find a place where it's quite a fair distance from ugly gray buildings and such alike, even though I would have liked the second picture without the buildings in the background, I took it, anyway. About why the grass... Well honestly, I have no idea. For a moment I thought someone had kindly planted some taller grass there for me to take the shot. Guess I'm just lucky. @dhanshucool: Ahh, I wish I still had my camera D= It broke a year ago while I brought it about, and I'm guessing I'll never be rich enough to afford one again. Glad you liked the photos

These pictures are both very good, but I reallyyyy like the first one. Take as many pictures as you can with light rays like that! I have tried for a while to find a spot where I can do that, but never actually taken a good one! Yours is so cool; I love the texture of the bark that you can see and how it turns to a silhouette at the top is very interesting. This incorperates all the techiniques I have strived for in the past, but never been particularly able to achieve.
If your walking home is this Gorgeous i would love to walk to your home everyday. I just cant tell you how much i just loved the picture of the tree. I love the way the leaves are fuzzy and slightly mushy looking, Then the bark of the tree is actually very sharp and rich. urgh im in love with the tree.
