Ever wonder which countries are on YWS at which times? Well, wonder no more my friends. The following chart shows the number of pageviews per hour over the month of July 2011. The chart is based on Pacific Daylight Time, so I've marked off various countries to help make sense of it.
8 A.M? I find that hard to believe because everyone I know can barely wake up by... 10 A.M. But maybe that's just Boston. I live in EST so that's three hours forward. Still, I guess it doesn't matter as YWS is active for almost eighteen hours of the day.
Sometimes it's quite nice to be an American, at least when it comes to being on YWS at it's liveliest!
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
Shadowraiki ->> I think you're misunderstanding the chart. The markers for 8 am are simply that, just markers. It's to help give some understanding to the chart since the chart itself is in Pacific time while most of us live in a different timezone. I could've gone with midnight, noon, or 2 pm for the markers; it doesn't matter. They're just there to aid comprehension.
@Nate: I think I may have mis-spoken. I looked at the 8 A.M for NY/DC/Toronto section since that was the one closest to where I live and though, "Gee, that's still a lot of traffic despite being so early".
If words are just letters put together, why do we decide on what they mean?
That's because this chart shows all activity on the [global] site— so for people where 8 am in NYC is in the afternoon or evening where they live, they're awake and on YWS!
That's one of the fun things about YWS. You can be on at any time of day and there are still people. ^^
