Spoiler
Well, I wrote this for my grandfather's funeral, and I'm pretty proud of it. Brought a tear to the eye of my great-aunt! *Is extremely chuffed* Go on, then. Rip it to shreds!
You dream,
Dust motes partaking,
In exquisite dance,
Above you.
You slip,
At peace, in silence,
From this unhappy,
Dreary world.
You fly,
Quick as a daydream,
Full of grace and glory,
Into light.
You end,
So weary of life,
Already half-gone,
Now you leave.
You begin,
Spectacular as,
In your long-gone prime.
Death is a beginning.
