Hello there writers!
I'm pretty new here, but I've already posted a few things. I then realized I hadn't even said 'Hi' and told you about me. So... Hi! One thing you need to know: I am not a native speaker, and that explains a lot of my grammar and spelling mistakes. For those who wonder, I am a German girl, but have been living in Sweden for three years. I turned fifteen just a week ago, and beside of the writing, I enjoy reading, singing, dancing and playing a couple of instruments - piano, guitar and bass. So far, only few people have read my work. A lot of people have read my poems on another platform, but my short stories/novels are unknown to everyone except a few fellow friends. I am currently writing on two novels, one in German, and one in English - only to improve my writing though. You possibly wonder why I'm writing in English... That's a good question, I am not sure myself. I know it all started when I started reading my first English books. Those books had some easier poetry in them and it made me curious if I could write like this, too. All this improved, I read about 80% of my books in English now and my writing was expanded to short stories and a novel. Um... it feels like I am slightly going off-topic now. Anyways, that's me. I hope to have a fun time over here, and I can't wait to get t oknow you a little better. :3

I don't review much because I am afraid to tell my opinion. I will try to change that though, so that I can make up for the reviews I get. I apologize... Also, I am not a native speaker of the English language, but I try my best.

I'd say your English is very good. 'Round here we encourage everyone, so don't be afraid to ask for help.

What you should know is that we ask members to review two pieces for each one they post. That way everyone gets review and you benefit as a reader. Also, when you're stuck you can visit the chat found on the site's main page. Someone is usually there.

That sounds so neat! I tried writing something in Spanish once (my other language) but I didn't get very far. I am impressed by your dedication! :)

Do you notice any difference between German literature and English literature?

Thanks, I didn't really know about the review thing, but I'll try my best even though I'm not that good a reviewing... Whatevs, I'll learn.

Differences between German and English literature, huh?
Mh, a difficult question. Most English books I've read so far are teen books because they were easy to understand, I haven't read much classical literature or books with a difficult language. So it doesn't feel like I could give you a good and proper answer to that question. A thing I noticed about German literature, or the German language in complete, is that is has many words to describe things and give it a magical feeling to it. I am sure that the English language at least has as many of these words as German has, but so far I haven't really read a book where I could see that. And in that point, German and English are totally different, and in my opinion a lot better, than for example Swedish. Swedish has very few 'describing words', and is over all a very emotionless language - that's why I don't read Swedish literature and changed to English instead... Oh well, that was not at all what you wanted to know, I'm sorry.
