I colored this one pretty quick. To me, the hair and shirt look a little weird, but I wanted to get other people's thoughts on it. I saved the original inked version in case I wanted to color it again.
Thanks for taking a look at it

Hi, Sheepy! I love his expression. I like the way you coloured his eye with the highlight and everything. Also, you added more dimension to it that just colouring it green. Maybe instead of having the lighter ring around the pupil so circular, give it a sunburst edge for realistic purposes. (But I know absolutely nothing about anime, so it could just be in the stye of your art. ) His hair isn't as realistic as you usually do, but I sort of like it. It fits in with the dimensions and colouring of the rest of the piece.
The only thing that bothers me is his hand. Why is it so pale? The first finger seems way to long. I took a picture of myself in this position, and the line from my second finger cuts off the first finger, and you see my second finger's knuckle. Also, the back of his hand looks a little narrow. I tell a lot of people this, so forgive me if I've already told you, but after you draw a human figure, look at their position and take a picture of yourself in the same pose. That way, you can see proportions and angles. Wonderful, as always. -Sea-
This is really neat! You're really good with shading by the way =] I think these have a lot of potential for a lot of different things. A career is cartooning and anime is a definite possibility with what I've seen of yours =] The proportions are amazing and the eyes are stunning. Even in the shirt and in the glove the textures and shading are extravagent. Things like that can stump a lot of people, so this is great =] Two thumbs up from me.
Haha I'm here as requested and I love this! I agree with you on the hair and shirt awkwardness, but collars are really hard (I can't even get them WITH references let alone without them!) so I think that was actually pretty well drawn. As for the hair, the only problem I have with it is that it seems too flat against the head, and the slit in the bangs is a little too high. It makes it seem as though he's either got a fivehead (instead of a forehead) or his hair is really matted down. Next time, you should probably either make the slit in the bangs lower down on his head, or put more hair on the top of his head. Either of those would definitely fix the "thinning hair" look.
The hand is also slightly off. Though it is definitely an extremely well drawn hand, you could do better after this. I think the majority of your problem is with the knuckles. In that position, the knuckle on the pointer finger wouldn't be visible. Also, you're kind of hiding the middle finger's knuckle behind the ring finger's knuckle, which is awkward. So, in layman's terms, the first three knuckles should be shown, and the last should be hidden. The last thing, is that the pointer finger is way too long. The middle finger is the longest finger, so especially in that position, the pointer finger should be shorter than the middle finger. And that would fix the awkwardness ^_^ (but those are still really good hands)
The only other thing I have to add, is that you might wanna add a some shading around the eye (like in the crease on the lid) to give it more dimension. Other than that, this is really good ^_^ as I've said before, I see some definite improvement!
Geez.... how do my reviews get so long?! O_o

Hey, long time since I have reviewed anything of yours been rather busy with school work. I must say you have improved and you where awesome before hand. My internet is very slow so only half of the colored picture tuned up.
I really like your ink drawing, probably better than the colored one.It has a nice character. The line are perfect, I love how their thickness varies. The face is very well done, simplistic yet very effective. More detail on the collar area and maybe buttons would be nice, the ears would also do with more, look at other peoples ears for reference. You also got the fingers mixed up.
I love the eyes in your colored picture, the shine is pretty dam cool. Alternating shades of brown would be a nice touch. I'm kind of running out of time... Anyway great work!
