I haven't been on here in years! I actually completely forgot about this website... I haven't written in years either. :/ It's really odd to think about honestly. I use to be so active on here - it was THE website to go on for me for the longest time and now... times gone by and it's just 'here'. It's odd.
Spearmint Not me replying to this eight years later >.>
I don’t know how much YWS has changed from when you were active, but there are still quite a few lovely members around, and we’re getting promising new members too! So yep, it’s still here and thriving! ^^ (especially the Roleplay section =P)
Anyways, welcome back to YWS! And I hope it’s just as wonderful as it was back then <3

Haha well thank you for giving me the privilege of reviewing it! I meant what I said and I think that, judging solely on that piece, you have great potential in writing! Anyways, Merry YWS Christmas!
DeadEndsAreOptional Merry YWS Christmas to you also!

Thanks for the 2nd review
To be honest...I just used google translator for the name of the fort haha. I had known that French was spoken widely then, (even the English court spoke either French or Latin) so I though it was a fitting language.
Yeah I realised that thing with the names (Edward) not that long after I finished writing-I'll probably change it when I think of a good name. There's also an Edmund so I may have to change that as well. No, the figure at the end is just Hans sending a messenger pigeon out to a nearby Crusader city to spread the word. Godfrey isn't dead, just captured at this point. But I wanted to leave that question of whether he is alive or not up to the reader.
DeadEndsAreOptional Haha, that's what I do too! When I want a cool name for place in my books I go to Google Translate. (:
Thank goodness Godfrey isn't dead! You scared me for a bit there. (:

medievalwriter And thank you for your review
Whilst I wasn't intending my story to be 100% accurate, merely something to get me back into writing as I haven't written for many years, I've used what knowledge I have of the era to construct. Later on this takes a more evident path, I'm just using the Crusades as a background for this story, I'm not wanting to get bogged down with too much accuracy because I like to let my mind go free. It's not unaccurate enough either to be put in the fantasy section though.
Later on I plan to include some more details on Godfrey's relationship with his father; the first chapter was so short only because it was originally a school assisnment
I'd be happy to proof read some more of Caerowyn ( cool name by the way) before you upload it on here if you want?

*hangs head in shame* I can't believe I haven't been on YWS for days! :'( But I was too caught up in watching the 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables on TV... among other things. *looks sadly at the YWS logo* Can you ever forgive me?
