*facepalm* Yeah E,12,16, and 18 seem to be numbers standing for ages. I shall introduce myself by showing that I am clearly an idiot, but I'm not dumb. Idiots are senseless fools while dumb people are people with not many brain cells. I have plenty of brain cells, but my common sense is lacking. so.......... yeah. Well, if you have any advice for me, that would be very helpful, considering I just joined 5 minutes ago.

The numbers/singular letter are the rating guides for various works. The only rating required is 18+, but sometimes it's just nice to rate everything so people know what level of maturity is required to read it. The Content Rating Guides provide the guidelines for each number.
