If you are reading this you are either left-handed or an imposter. Yes you right hand people this is for the leftys so back away slowly or pledge immediately to never use your right hand again. Oh, you think that is a little extreme? Well I guess you just won't get to read this

Ok, what are you still doing here? I thought I made myself clear. This is a private message.

Alright I suppose you can stay, but if you're a righty I don't think you will find this very interesting.

Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Anyway, I just wanted to spread the word. I've started a club. Its called the Left-handed Club and, duh, its for leftys. Any interesting facts about LHers you know you can share, or if you want to rant about how it is nigh to inpossible to cut a straight line with right-handed scissors, this club is the place to do it. Join up.
Hope to see you soon.

hey there Dragongirl, I am left-handed too. :D Have you ever heard of 'left handers day'?? It is kinda new for me as a left-handed person to hear that. It is on August 13th. Maybe we would celebrate that in your club. I always find people looking at the way I write/draw with my left hand saying that it is kinda unique. (I must admit my writing style is pretty wired)
I just LOVE being a left-handed. I have known since I was a little kid that left-handed people are multi-talented and more creative and imaginative.

Well, I used to be left-handed when I was young, and I thought it strange for me to be the only one writing with my left hand, so I'd practiced writing with the other... and now I can't write with my left hand >_>

Perhaps I should have remained a lefty =P

Paradox, it's fine. The Lounge is the place for all advertisements of clubs and such to be posted. :D

I can write with both, but I prefer my right hand because my left hand drags over the paper end smears the ink or lead.

I agree with Razcoon. It SMUDGES the words. My hand goes BLACK. Sometimes I wish I was right handed, then I think of unique-ness and polar bears ^^. Also, I actually can cut a straight line with right handed sicssors, infact, I find it physically impossible to use left handed ones :) (but when I use the sicssors I have at home - which don't have a nice thick coloured thing around the handle- I get a red painful indent where I hold them :/)

I'm not lefthanded, so perhaps I'm an imposter, but I have an interesting fact about left handed people if you don't mind hearing it from a right handed person :)

They actually did a study on left handed people (I heard this in my child development class so it's not a rumor) and they said it was possible for left handed people to have actually had a twin in the womb but the twin just vanished for no apparent reason. They're left handed because they were on the opposite side. Both of my parents are left handed so I find that kind of cool. But it would make sense because left handedness isn't heritary because all five of us were right handed even though both my parents were left handed.

That...would make for a really good story plot. :)

Well I'm not really into science fiction but you're more than welcome to take the idea ;)

Cool-sounding as it is, it's untrue and has been soundly debunked.

Something else that is interesting is that most animals are left-handed by default. Right-handedness in the animal kingdoms is uncommon.

I just learned about it last year, and we saw lots of videos on it. Why would they teach you something that's untrue in school? It's also been other places. Where did you hear it was debunked?

Well, I'm right handed and so I kept reading. I got all pumped up that their was going to be some super cool surprise at the end, but then it was just a club advertisement. Made me a bit disappointed.
