I have around 10 requests at the moment, and I don't want to receive any more commission requests until otherwise posted. Thanks! ^^

Firstly, for Butterz (peaut19). She gave me a short many long (xD) descriptions of what her characters look like. I didn't add too much detailing as far as outfit and special qualities go because, to be frank, I struggled with the ghost thing. Now, I drew this ghost and decided it looked weird, so I purposefully blurred the drawing (attention! haha) because it seemed to fit the atmosphere of the event.

Spoiler
In that scene the three characters (Sophia, Ash, and Alyce) are in the charred remains of Alyce's house. It is October, if you decide to add any scenery the leaves are falling. The four walls are still standing but the windows are busted out and there are cracks in the black walls. They are sitting in a circle on the floor. When you draw it you should draw the circle with the left, Sophia in the center where you can see her whole face/body and Alyce on the right. There is one thick white candle in the middle of the circle, a silver lighter beside it and a small notepad. they are all clasping hands.
Now comes the tricky part... Aryn, the dead girl (ghost) is using Sophia to communicate so if you could some how draw Aryn's ghost going into Sophia's body that would be amazing. And make the shadows around Aryn very dark.

Alyce, has big blue eyes and layered wavy red hair that goes down a little bit past her shoulders.
Sophia has blue eyes(make them darker than Alyce's if you just shade them) and straight red hair that is braided over her shoulder.
Ash has dark almost black eyes and shaggy white hair.

Love ya Butterz! <3

Seasons

This is/these are my gallery drawings. They're larger in person, and are being matted on four separate mats. I AM NOT A GALLERY ARTIST ZOMG. I struggled with this, because my art is a more cartoony-for-graphic-novel style. However, I had fun experimenting with colored pencils.

Yeah I hate this; it's boring and cliche, but I thought I should do an update on my quest to master the colored pencil. :p

Thanks for viewing! Love you guys.

Lassie!!<3 I love this! In the story Sophia is sort of out of it when this happens, the sad look on her face is amazing. And Aryn is perfect. You did an amazing job with the ghost(: I'm so glad I finally have a picture of this because the way I work is I can describe them with words but I can't actually form a picture in my mind. This is going to help a lot when I am editing my novel and such.

On the second picture, I love the colors. You blended them very well in the hair. It's a little different seeing the eyes on the one on the left. Probably because most of your characters have triangular-ish eyes. The only thing I was wondering about was with the girl on the right her hair on right side is split towards the bottom. I was just wondering about that because there's not really anything there to make it split. It might be a cartoon but that part of the hair looks unnatural-ish.

The last one is my favorite of the two that aren't mine(: I think it's just because I have this thing for trees. I draw them all the time and I think they are really pretty. I love the emotion on the girl's face(: It's a very cute picture.

Sorry I don't really have much to say that is very helpful. But I love my drawing. Thank you, Lassie :D

You might not like the last one but ZOMG I LOVE IT!!!! X3 it's so cute and the proportions are so well drawn and I really love it. Gosh I suck at proportions compared to you. I also can't, for the life of me, position bodies or be creative >.<

I'm also amazed at how great you are with colored pencils. You can clearly see where it's shaded and it's doesn't look like one solid color. I really think you've mastered the color pencil, if I do say so myself.

Oh! One thing. I did look back at that last picture (that I ADORED!) and there was just a little thing wrong with the proportions on the arms, they were a little short. But it's really nothing to worry about, you might just want to watch out for it next time :)

You see how your color is really grainy? To fix that, you should find watercolor pencils, the type that melt when you brush them with water. I've found out that really cheap pencils also melt with water, but I doubt they were made for that.
Anyways, I use this expensive French brand of watercolor pencils, and the results are almost like watercolor. :D
That's all I could really comment about, the graininess just jumped out at me.

Oh, and yeah, you could also just use watercolors. XD

Well, these are, and they look great, but a flat area of graded color just looks nicer...to me. It's completely the artist's (yours) decision to make, and you did an excellent job.
Suffice to say, if this had been art work of mine (and I suck at stuff like this, proportions and all that jazz) it would have been colored differently. That's all I'm saying. No hatin' :D

My favorite pic is the winter girl one. For some reason, she seems less color-pencily and almost marker-ish. I love how you captured the expression of each of your characters so perfectly. :) The girl and the guy in the third picture look thoroughly in love. Keep on drawing!

I luuurrrv these! :D

These are pretty hard things to critique for a few reasons. To begin with, they're awesome, so it's hard anyway. The other thing that makes it hard to critique these is the fact that you draw your characters in a unique style, so it's a struggle to say you're drawing of certain things is a bit off or whatever because, well, it could just be part of your style. Buuuuut, I hate being useless, so I shall try!

Even if the last drawing here is cliché as you said, I really love it. I think you've done an excellent job with the colours, which I think was what you were actually practising... so well done!

I love the seasons thing too, from the idea of the whole thing to the drawings themselves. The only critique I have for you on those is the girl who represents spring. Mind you, when I think about it, this is totally personal... Basically, I don't think she necessarily looks as Springish as she could. She looks kind of sad and distant, and that's not exactly what comes to mind when I think of the season. Innocence is what comes to mind, for some reason. So yeah, that's not even a critique... just a note from me. xD

(I've just realised I'm reviewing these backwards. Sorry.)

Aaaaand peanut's drawings! Very cool, if I may say so myself. I think you stuck to the description very well, so a thumbs up on that. It's really awesome because I looked at the drawing before reading the description and I almost immediately guessed that the character on the right was some kind of ghost or something. Then I read the descriptions and I was like ZOMG! So yeah, you're one talented lady!

There is actually one critique I have for you and it fits into all of your drawings really, so this may actually just be useful! What I've noticed about your drawings is the fact that sometimes, your proportions can look a bit off. What I've especially noticed is that your noses, ears and hands can seem a bit too big for the rest of your characters bodies/face. Thinking about it, it's the features that stick out of the body... x3 It could simply be because this is your style of drawing, but I thought I better mention it just in case. Take the last picture, for example. Their ears, especially the guys', look big. They're drawn wonderfully, but they look like they could do with some minimizing, you know? As for noses, spring's nose in the seasons picture and the girls' noses in peanut's picture, for example, look rather big to me.

It's not the technicality of these features that are bothering me, but simply the size. The details are great, but the size of them can look a bit out of proportion to me. Like I said before, these aspects could just have something to do with your drawing style, but if not, I'd look into trying to shrink some of these features in the future. :D There are no huge problems at all though really, so overall, an awesomesauce job!

Keep drawing,

xoxo Skins

Hey there Captain!

First of all, I love how the light and dark colors mix and fade with each other. Your drawings are really pretty, especially the way you have drawn the hair and their facial features! I actually have seen a lot of your artworks before and I just realized that you tend to draw people Disney-like. ^^ However, the only thing that I kind of didn't like was how the ears were drawn bigger. Anyways, it's your style so I don't think I have to elaborate more of it. That's just me anyways. xD

Overall, I love this.

Gah! Lovely lovely work you have here. The last time was absolutely beautiful in my opinion. You should definitely think about cartooning! You're really good, especially at keeping the overall feel of the characters from piece to piece. Lovely job =]
