Windmills of my mind

I know these aren't technically windmills okay, but I was proud of my title thinking-up skills!

Ohhh, cool pic! I know, that was helpful. It's simple, but I like the color-quality to it and the way the fan wings are kind of blurred. There's not a ton to look at, but I still kind of like to look at it anyway, and I think it's balanced pretty well.

Where did you take them? I remember once I was driving through Indiana and I saw a whole bunch of them go down for miles and miles. I wanted to take pictures of them too but my dad never stopped for me. xD

Anyway, I like how simplistic the picture is. If I had anything really negative to say then it would be concerning the clouds. Either I wish there was more to make the picture seem a bit more symmetrical or I wish that one cloud was just taken out of the picture.

Overall, it's still a good shot.

This is a really cool picture. It reminds me of the windmills I see when I go on roads trips to Reno. The blur is nice, because the motion is what gives it its character obviously, but you can also see each individual blade as it's whipping through the air.

The colors are so countryside. The green of the grass with the blue sky both meeting at the horizon, which shows faint distant mountains. I think it probably would have been a lot more interesting to see some more clouds in the center of the shot, rather than having them so far off to the side. Either that, or just have bare blue sky.

The perspective is also quite an asset to the shot. Although, it is pretty simple in itself, I'm not quite sure what else could have been done to make it look any better. The picture quality doesn't seem as sharp as it could have been. Maybe that's something you could play around with if you have some kind of software, or even the basic picture editing software might do this picture some justice.

Other than that, I like it. [:

1 That cloud is distracting, although I understanmd you couldn't tell it to move!
2 Maybe a few too many windmills, especially in the back ground.
But, that's abosultuey amazing!

Ohh, it's so pretty! The color's a little dull, you could brighten it up a bit but I love it otherwise! I like how there's not a house in the distance or anything, it looks better that way. The grass looks great, all flowing, and the windmills are great. Cool idea. If you could have, I think you should have gotten closer to the windmills, and maybe look dow a row of them, but the way you did it looks good too. I like how you can see the windmill thingies moving, adds motion to the picture. The clouds kind of blend with the windmills, so it doesn't look as great. If they were really dark or really light, maybe it would work but now it just doesn't define the windmills well enough. Otherwise, beautiful!

I'm a HUGE fan of photography, and let me say I see a lot of art in this photograph! Maybe it's just my computer, but it looks like a pastel painting! Let me go top-to-bottom with my thoughts...

The way the sky fades from a deep blue in the upper right corner to a creamy blue-white in the left is really lovely! And the cloud looks absolutely perfect! Like a big scoop of ice cream!

I love how the windmills are all staggered and pointing the same direction. The way they're dotted around going back toward the horizon, and the blurring of the blades looks great in the picture. I like it!

The grass-windmill contrast is probably my favorite part. The way the grass is all waving to the left, while the windmills are pointed right looks great. And all the shades of green look absolutely stunning!

This is an all-round great picture (it is a photo right?) and I like it a lot. Keep up that great camera eye!

I like how you have only added a bit of the ground to this photo and mainly focused it on the sky and the wind-turbines. What I also like is that you can see the movement to the turbines, and there are great colours in this photo. Keep it going!

Hey there, Icyflame!

I like this picture. The simplicity of it is nice, and it just looks like a nice place to be, y'know? The only thing I would suggest, is if you tried a motion/speed setting on a camera, and see what happens when you take the picture. Another thing that is off, is you don't really seem to have a center-of-focus. There's no specific area we are trying to look at, so the viewers' eyes wander all over the picture. This isn't always bad, but in a lot of cases, it'll take away attractiveness from the photo. Maybe try taking pictures at different angles or locations in this field. See what happens.

I also don't really like the cloud in the background, but you can't really help that much. Maybe try going there again when there aren't any clouds, or perhaps see if you can photoshop the cloud out of the picture? Otherwise, I really like the picture. It looks a lot like some of the areas around where I live, so it's neat to see a familiar, happy setting. Good luck and keep it up. Feel free to PM me with any questions or if you want reviews.

Hi IcyFlame This photo is gorgeous. It reminds me of one of those photos you see on the governments website or something about how they're trying to be eco-friendly.

I actually liked that the wind turbines mills were blurred

I also loved how lush the grass looked and how the wind blew it back. The sky was great (except for the cloud). Overall, great photo! I'd love to see more photos

One thing though (which has been said already), a focal point here would be great. Our eyes are wandering over the picture, (though not necessarily bad) and I think it could be better that way Amazing photo!

Awesome! I can just feel the energy radiating from the picture... or is that the wind? There isn't much in this picture but sometimes simplicity is better than a complicated mess which I sometimes come across. Windmills may seem unrelated but I guess if someone were to draw the sails of the windmill it would be easier to use this as a base and then draw over the faint outlines - like stickmen.

Btw, they are called windmill generators so your half right in calling them windmills.
