Heya Classy, Gsp here! Long time no chat. :D I'm gonna be your reviewer today.

I really like this. I think it's mainly because most evil characters these days are described as "beautiful" "frighteningly beautiful", etc, etc... This is sort of a more classic-type villain, and I love it. I did notice one or two things, though.

First off, his ear looks inhumanely large. You might have done that on purpose, but I don't know. Other than the largeness I really like the detail you put into it, though. His nose also looks a bit large, but I don't think it would look right if it wasn't.

I didn't see much else worth mentioning, other than I'd like to see the rest of his hat. Other than that, I love this. :D Keep up the good work.

Oh, wow, he's awesome! xD

I love your art, Classy. I don't think I've ever told you that, but yeah, I really do. I'm super jealous of your shading skills, and also your hand drawing skills. As many artists know, drawing hands and feet is painfully hard, but you seem to be able to do it easily. One thing I will say about the hand in this photo though is that, unless it's just me and my eyesight, it's a bit big. Well, I think it's just the palm actually. Hmmm... I'm not entirely sure. It just looks a bit off to me, ya know?

I love how you've made that glowy orb thing literally look as though it's glowing. I remember back when I was a good old noob, and I reviewed some drawings of yours. There was one drawing where you'd made the hair look as though it was shiny, and I was seriously impressed by it. I think you've used a similar effect here, and it works really well.

I don't really have any critiques... hehe. I'm no artist, so what I would say probably wouldn't be much help anyway. The only other thing in this drawing that looks a bit off to me is the top half of his body/his torso. Once again, this could just be my dodgy eyesight, but to me, it looks a bit.... I dunno, flat. xD That probably makes no sense. What it is, I think, is that it kind of looks like his top his part of his skin. I think you want it to look baggy, but it kind of looks the opposite. My gosh, I should not review art... Sorry for not making sense. I hope you kind of, at least, sort of have a tiny bit of an idea what I mean.

Basically, you rock and keep drawing!

xoxo Skins

P.S. I'm very tempted to ask you to draw me a character now. x3
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Nope, totally makes sense! I didn't go into much detail with this one, it was mainly about the shading, but I do understand what you're talking about with the shirt. I can see why you see the hand as a bit off, something about me is that I draw certain parts of the human body huge while others are normal size. If I drew everything realistic it would be boring, in my eyes, So I draw large feet, hands, eyes and ears.

I'm glad you like it! Thanks so much for the compliment. ^^

Lassie! You drew my magician(: And he looks awesome. You're style shows in this. And you want to know my favorite part? His nose. I don't know why but I love it. Like Skins said he seems to be a little unproportional but since he's a magician he's supposed to be...magical right? And evil he looks pretty evil. Also your shading is amazing. I know you said you were having trouble with it because it wasn't something you did, with the ball of light and all. But you did a great job. *like* I will be back when you post more.

Sam!

I know I've told you how much I love your drawings, but I don't think I can stress it enough. You are a wonderful artist, and even though I already look up to you, I will look up to you even more now when I start taking art class next year. I can't wait to see your drawings for Madeleine and Catherine!

Although you are a wonderful artist, this isn't one of your best. It's still really good, but it feels like you put less effort into this one then you do in others. I can't tell if this is supposed to look realistic or cartoony, because although the face and everything and the clothes look someone real, you don't really get a sense of either the body or the clothes, which don't look like they can crumple and wrinkle and catch the wind.

I also think that there is more that you can probably do with the background. It just feels a bit uncomfortable and makes the rest of the drawing harder to make out. If you want it to be dark, that's fine, but maybe you can add a little bit more detail. What kinds of things are in his room? His face also feels a bit off. You capture detail really well, but it doesn't really feel proportionate in terms of the rest of the drawing, and the beard seems like it is resting on top of his face as opposed to on his chin.

I hope this helps you and this doesn't seem too harsh! <3 I love you, keep drawing!

Robert Sheehan.

He's from the British Television series 'Misfits.' It's an amazing show and I recommend it if you're over 16. ^^

His lips, I made them too big, but I worked for so long on the hair and I think it turned out pretty well. I'd love any comments. ^^ Isn't he gawgeous? He's Irish. ;)

Yo, would you mind explaining the process you use to create hair? I've been experimenting a lot with that subject, but I've never seen hair like that before. It's incredible.

This is my blog for posting art, poems, philosophy, paintings, photos, or video and other creative works that I've done in my free time.
I would be very happy if you checked it out, and made a comment or two!

Lemme try to and remember...

I think what I did was draw an outline of the hair, each individual lock (it sounds like a lot but really isn't.) Then I shaded from the outsides of each lock. So the bottom and top of the curl were the darkest and it got lighter as I went in, so it looks like the light is hitting it. Then I added a couple of individual strands to make it look like I put a lot of effort into it. xD You also have to make sure that the hair is darkest when it's coming out of the root, and it gets darker as the strand descends. Remember highlights and lowlights!

This is really good! It is way better than I could ever do. The thing that pops out as me as bad right away is her ear. It is too bold. I would soften the dark lines. I am also wondering about her smallest knee. It just is too tiny compared to the other on.

I say Wolf, for all wolves are not of the same sort; there is one kind with an amenable disposition – neither noisy, nor hateful, nor angry, but tame, obliging and gentle, following the young maids in the streets, even into their homes. Alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves are of all such creatures the most dangerous!
