Kay, so I did this in like an hour... Simple... And unless anybody has any major suggestions, this is probably how it's going to be entered in the contest. XD But, does anyone have any suggestions for me?

As this is a contest for a fresh, new handout, I'd suggest trying out something a bit different. It strikes me as a bit busy: there's a lot of text saying a lot of different things, and it's not visually appealing. On a wall, I'd probably ignore it! Which is worrying. I'd say try to make it a bit more tidy, neat and unique.
Good luck!

I like the changes you made to the welcome block that goes on the front page; I may have to copy that from you! However, there's no requirement that people under 18 need their parents' permission and I wouldn't want that included on a flyer.
Also, a tip on the website address: spell it out as www.YoungWritersSociety.com. The problem with our site address is it's way too long and unless you capitalize the beginning of every word, it just looks like meaningless gibberish.
@ Kitten: No, I'm pretty sure it's pasttime. Considering the mission statement is posted from YWS itself... You can write to pass time, but things like baseball (and in this case, writing) are also called pasttimes. I think.
@ Fire: Okay, thanks for your input... It does look similar now that you mention it. T-T I fail. Unfortunately, Script Frenzy starts tonight, so I don't dare spend too much time on this.
@ Nate: Alrighty! Thanks. And as for the under-eighteen thing, they had stuff like that on the example flier-ey things, so I thought maybe it was required or something. XD
*flitters off to make a few minor changes*
