The March 2011 Review Day Review (now with graphs!)

Wow, March's Review Day was quite a success! We ended up with a grand total of 556 reviews from 132 reviewers. Excluding reviews in the art / photography forum, we had a grand total of 528 reviews. That's very, very good.

Of course, we didn't break the all-time record of 693 reviews, but then again, we weren't trying to. Rather, we'll be doing that come June's Review Day on June 26.

In looking over some of the numbers for this Review Day, I was struck by just how constant the reviewing activity was. To see what I mean, compare the charts below which show reviews done per hour:

First, this is January's Review Day:


See how it peters out for several hours before going up again? That's how a Review Day normally is. Compare that to March 2011:


See how it's almost a straight line? Kind of crazy. I have a feeling that if we had tried to beat the record, we would have easily done so.

I did so much better last review day. I think in the teens or twenties? I would've been happy to see my name in the top 5, but I'm super stoked for this review day still! Good job everyone. (^-^)

XD Demaloo. I can hardly believe it myself...I'm not one for reviewing, and so I've probably done my reviews for awhile I'm thinking next Review Day, a challenge of sorts for me. I don't know what yet, but all I'm thinking is that I want to beat that fifty
