I... don't remember! It's been a few years, actually. Even though I've been inactive for most of them. :P I was really active when I first joined, and then I kind of forgot about it for two years or so. I remembered my account here back in January or December, and I think today is the first time in a long while that I've posted anything!

I probably wandered on from NaNoWriMo, to be quite honest.
because memory moves in orbits
of absence, because she holds her hands out in the rain,
and rain remembers nothing, not even how it became itself.

I was searching the web for a good writing forum and I found...YWS! I actually just came across it again from months of inactivity. Hopefully now I'm back to stay.

I had been searching for a good online writer's community for ages. Finally I asked around, my friends on other websites, Q&A sites, and a few suggested here.
I checked out a couple others as a guest, but none were really enticing.
I poked around on this one, and I found that the users were friendly, the reviews were helpful and the authors were all amazing!
I chose to join up and I don't think i'll ever quit! Not until I'm old, whithered and laying in a hospital!
Amazing site, Nate!
Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurl.

Was looking for a place to post some work.
This seems to be a very chilled place to do it.
And its amazing to see how many young people write.

It was through Yahoo Answers actually...
I was browsing the Books and Authors forum and someone had mentioned YWS in their question.

I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

I was actually on another site, writing my story, when...well, long story short, I'm not there anymore. So I went to Google.

I love this place. :smt005

I found the society when browsing for places for young writers to share and develop writing, it appealed to me as I found many pieces of writing immersive to read and felt i should share. :)

Never B flat,
Always B natural.

I had actually heard of young writers society before, I think, and I might have even clicked on the link...

But then recently, I searched 'young writers websites' and found a list of the 'top 40' by... 'education-portal.com'. It was right up by the top, along with the young writers program for NaNoWriMo.

And if this site is on the same 'Top 40' list as anything NaNoWriMo... Well. That just speaks for its awesomeness. ;)
