I found out about the site from Alice. She told me about it on Yahoo messenger back in March 2007. I like this site a lot. Even though I was quite the trouble maker in my early days of the site.
I get this newsletter from the English department at my college every month or so. Awhile back (last year) it mentioned how someone got published on some e-magazine called Toasted Cheese. Recently I remembered that...then on that site it mentioned how it was one of the 101 best sites for writers on Writers Digest. So I looked at that list saw a link to this site and was curious...
I'm on fictionpress but the "reviews" there aren't really helpful at all. I guess they're more like a self-esteem booster. But yeah, I'm liking this site better.
i got here though Stumble! (a weird program that my brother put on my computer, when you push the Stumble button it brings you to random sites!) and well i liked what i saw so i joined! javascript:emoticon(':D')

Funny that.
like on the 4th page, searching for young writers forums.

"He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it. " "It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes." ~Douglas Adams
I found it in google when I searched for young writers groups. I'd emailed the author Jodi Picoult (She's my favourite) and she told me there were many online groups out there for young writers. So I googled I hadn't realized these groupd existed online, silly me
Some others came up in the search too but YWS was the best one !
Ummm...I don't actually remember. I think I may have found it through Google or another writing site. I was basically just browsing around and looking for something to do.

I was looking for a place to submit my writing to get feedback or just to get my name out there and I stumbled unto this after a few hours. I stopped looking after that and I'm very satisfied so far.
May all of your endeavors be sucessful;
but if they aren't, write about them.
And if they are, write about them.
Just Write.
I was on writing.com. Then got disillusioned with the lack of feedback. I then browsed for young writer's forums [or something like that] and found this to best out of the ones I found. Woop.
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
