These were all taken at the city's public library. I hope you guys like them :) . Please give me your advise on how I can improve or even just what you like and didn't like . Please don't be too hard . Obviously, all of these were edited.

First thing I'll say is that I am worse than awful at photography, and can't pretend to understand anything overly complex about it, so please take what I say with a pinch of salt.

A lot of these pictures are too small to really see properly. You should really make them a little larger, but I have no idea how to do that. Help, any later reviewers?

First one: This is very good, but the main point of the picture(the girl) s partially obscured, and your eye wanders to the rest of the picture.
Second one: Also good, but very obviously a pose.
Third one: This is my favourite out of them.
Fourth one: Hmm.. It's ok.

I'd class this as somewhere inbetween good and excellant. FOr a first try, this is great! Keep clicking!

In my opinion these pictures aren't very good, but I like your idea of adding color to black and white colors. How do you do that? I would like to know for future reference. I like taking pictures and I would really like to know. Could you please tell me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello there. :)

Hooray for first times! I did that too last weekend... I'm not too impressed with my results though. ;)
Yours though have a lot of potential. First off, Skorp wanted you to re-size, so here I am with a few links to help you with that!
topic67812.html <----- Resizing using Paint
topic59687.html <----- Resizing using Photobucket.

1. The first picture is a decent size, so don't change that one. Also, I don't quiet like the chair... I find the color a little sloppy, and I really think that the photo is better without that editing part.

2. This is my favorite. I love the pop of blue in there, but you should definitely re-size this. :) I love how my least favorite one, is your favorite one, and vise versa for my favorite one... ;)

3. I like this one as well, but I think that the edges of the focus point should be a little bit less hard. It should blend a little bit more... Well at, from what I can see.

4. I can't read what you wrote there... You should also do the same as the one before that. The edges look too hard, it should be softer. :)

Keep it up, and great job!

First time in photography? Great! I love giving reviews for first timers. LOL It's where you know that that certain person belongs with photography. :)

1. I think the color splash was not fitting for this pic. OK, maybe it is. LOL The pic looks humorous though. And I really like the idea of being alone. Haha... Maybe release some saturation from the chair. You know, to have less striking ochre there. (I think it was too striking LOL) But it's good. Nice editing, too! ;D

2. oh I like this! The angle is cool. And the color splash was fine. :) Don't crop this; it's perfect. LOL

3. Nice shot, too.

But.

4. I'm not so fond of. The words look like a splash of paint brushed on randomly on the screen. And the softened background doesn't seem fitting.

Anyway, nice job! First time. You're good. ;D KEEP SHOOTING!
