Whether the business be a merchant, silver/gold/blacksmith, feather maker, lawyer, journalist, shoe maker etc., I have no desire to seek a master and become his apprentice. Furthermore, I have no interest in furthering my education by enrolling in Harvard. Both paths would require my undivided attention to succeed and I have no desire allowing obstacles distract me from my primary goal since day one - fight for my country! -Samuel Garrison

How do you grieve?
The sadness drains through me rather than skating over my skin. It travels through every cell to reach the ground. I filter it yet strangely enough, I keep what was pure and it is the dirt that leaves.

Grieve. Break down and sob. Beat my head on the wall. ...

All right. Ha. I could though, right?

What's the question that's been nettling you most for the past...(years, weeks, days?) Or has someone been asking something of you, over and over? Why?

They ask me why I do it... y'know, dress as a bird and fight crime, and all... I just tell them I do it for the kids. For them to have a safer world, you know? Yeah, but that's a lie. I did it for the attention. -The Hawk

*stares* Were ye deprived of some much needed oxygen recently? A Elvis Person? A Beatle? I assure you sir, I am not an insect, nor do I comprehend the connection with a "Elvis Person.' Who, pretail, are they?-Samuel Adams

Are you rich/wealthy, poor, or middle-class? If rich, where did your income come from?

Whether they trust me or not. If they're obviously distrustful of me, I distrust them. It's as simple as that.

And then, really slick people, I never trust upon first meeting. You know the kind, the ones that you swear will slip out of your grasp if you even try to shake hands with them.

That would depend on the season. I remember, in the summer months when I seventeen, I was walking all over Boston's streets in my bare feet. In the cooler months though, I prefer to wear father's black boots, since they travel nearly up to my kneecaps. His boots are thick and keeps my toes warm and dry - mostly.-Samuel Garrison

I was born in Heveline on the 11th of August. Or at least I think it was the 11th. God, it's been so long since I had a birthday.~ Kyra Domelain

AAH! Sorry. I was trying to type and program my grandmother's cell phone at the same time.

I don't know. Everything. Nothing. I don't like thinking about the way I look. Changing would take too much thought. ~Meg

I got along with both of them very well in the old days. I spent more time with Father since I was always sailing with him, but I never had any trouble with Mother except when she wanted me to stay at home more. Now I still get along with Mother, but with L'ira's coming, things have changed and my last days with my Father we weren't exactly on the best of terms. ~ Torwen Cyrok

Father and I always seemed to have something to argue about. Mother used to be my best friend. Now, Father is gone and Mother and I can't seem to have a civil conversation. And I think that's my fault. ~ Kadelyn Cyrok

(I hope you guys don't mind that I had two characters answer. I'm trying to break myself of the habit of giving an answer to the question and then trying to figure out which of my characters it fits. By forcing myself to do two characters, I actually have to come up with two different answers and think about who is saying it and why.)

What do you want to be when you grow up? Or, if you're already grown up, what did you want to be when you were younger?
