AMAZING Battle Royale SB!(Started-Accepting)

This is a revised version of the "Battle Royale" scenario as written by user TorahikoOoshima. This storybook is based on the 1999 Japanese novel by Koushun Takami, Battle Royale. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Royale BACKGROUND Picture this. You live in a totalitarian state. Nothing is the same. Not even rock music is allowed. The government's power permeates into every aspect of your life. They are ultimate. In order to discourage uprising and non-conformity, they have created "The Program." Every class in the country is eligible to be put in the program. Every year, a random class is chosen to participate in this program. And you, are part of this lucky class. THE PROGRAM Put under the guise of a harmless field trip, "The Program" is a government experiment which takes place over the course of several days. Placed on an abandoned island, the class must now eliminate each other one by one, until a single student is left standing. RULES OF THE PROGRAM Isolated on an abandoned island, the students must now eliminate each other. Their movements are tracked through metal collars. These metal collars contain not only tracking technology, but explosives as well. They serve multiple purposes. If a student wanders into one of the islands many active danger zones at the wrong time, radio waves will be sent, and the collar will detonate. The collars are shockproof and waterproof, but if dismantling of the collar is attempted, it will detonate. The island is guarded at all times by ships surrounding the water. However, if an escape by sea is attempted, the collars will detonate. If a single student is not eliminated within a 48 hour span, then one of the collars will surprise, surprise, detonate. These collars also contain listening devices, and can also check the pulse of a student. At the end of each post, place your location IN BOLD. At the beginning of posts, put your persons name IN BOLD. ITEMS PROVIDED At the beginning of The Program, each student is provided a survival pack that contains items. These items include: Water Food Flashlight Map of island (With Danger Zones) Compass Random weapon or item. This can range from a pen, to an AK-47. THE ISLAND The stage for The Program this year takes place on Gunkanjima, an abandoned mining island located in Nagasaki, Japan. Once a thriving coal mining center, it has since been abandoned, leaving behind the shells of its former prosperity and establishment. Although heavily industrialized and full of abandoned buildings, there is one acre of forest located at the cliffs of the island. It is possible to wander into the mining areas, but take caution as they may collapse. Overall, the island contains many hiding places. gunkanjima.jpg Guys: 1. roundman-Matt Bean 2.
